Page 2: THE - Georgia Association of Convenience Stores · —————— ——————THE GACS has negotiated special pricing for attendees at the Omni Grove Park Inn, but your

oin your industry peers as we embark on a few new adventures.

this year’s GaCs Convention will be alive with ChanGe.

The convention committee, chaired by Clint Hancock (Jet Foods), is excited to announce a

new-member, Focus in Five event on Sunday afternoon, and a “par is your friend” golf event.

Also this year, instead of fishing we’ll be enjoying a ¾-mile-long zipline, and of course, we’ll be

inviting legislators and regulators.

In addition, the GACS Board of Directors along with GTEC (Georgia Tank & Equipment Contractors

Association) have voted to hold a “crossover” convention. This schedule will allow members of both

associations to attend ALL of the meal and educational functions for a full registration fee of $295 and a

crossover fee of $175. For those attendees that are members of both groups, this is a substantial savings.

For those of you that don’t get the opportunity to participate in both conventions, this provides a chance

to experience both at a reduced rate.

The chart in this brochure provides a short breakdown of registration options and GACS members can

easily register online for any and all events. We hope members of both associations will find this to be

a valuable new adventure!

According to the Sierra Club, the great outdoorsman John Muir once said that between every

two pine trees is a door leading to a new way of life. We encourage you to join us “between the

pines” for A Great Outdoors adventure!
