Bertrand Collomb Honorary Chairman

Lafarge

Bertrand Collomb is Honorary Chairman of Lafarge, a world-wide leader in building materials.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Mines in Paris, he also holds a French law

degree and a PhD in Management (University of Texas). He also founded the Center for Management

Research at the Ecole Polytechnique.

From 1966 to 1975, he worked with the French government in various positions. He joined Lafarge in

1975. After several responsibilities in various areas of the group, including CEO of Lafarge Corporation,

the North American arm of the group (1985-1988), he was appointed chairman and CEO of Lafarge in

August 1989. He was Chairman of Lafarge from 2003 to 2007, and is now Honorary Chairman of Lafarge.

He led Lafarge to become a global leader, while maintaining a people-oriented culture. He was a

proponent of sustainable development, a founding member of WBCSD (World Business Council for

Sustainable Development), of which he was the chairman in 2004-2005.

He is also a director of Total, DuPont and ATCO.

He is a member of the "Institut de France" and was chairman of the Académie des sciences morales et

politiques.

During her 20 year career at The Conference Board, Fosler held a number of leadership roles dedicated

to expanding the organization’s intellectual capacity and global presence. Until April 2008, she was

Executive Vice President and Chief Economist, directing the highly regarded economics program, and

was twice named America's most accurate economic forecaster by The Wall Street Journal. Prior to The

Conference Board, Fosler served as Deputy Staff Director and Chief Economist of the U.S. Senate Budget

Committee. Current Boards: Baxter International; Swiss Re America Holdings. University Affiliation:

Bert Habets Chief Executive Officer

RTL Nederland

Bert Habets was employed as Vice President Media & Entertainment Finance at NIB Capital from 1995

to 1999. In 1999 he joins RTL Group as project manager at the Business Development unit of CLT-UFA. In

March 2001 he is promoted to CFO of the Holland Media Groep, which in August 2004 continues under

the name RTL Nederland. In this position he puts in place the first building blocks for the company’s

digital, entertainment en film activities. Since 1 February 2008 he is appointed CEO of RTL Nederland.

Habets develops the broadcaster into Holland’s leading allround media & entertainment company with

four strategic pillars: tv, digital, live entertainment and ventures. He was educated in the Netherlands

and in Spain and has a master in economics and fiscal law, which he obtained at the University of

Maastricht. In 2014 he was awarded ‘Broadcaster of the year 2013’. Habets is married and has a

daughter.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Otmar Issing President

Center for Financial Studies

Otmar Issing has been President of the Center for Financial Studies since 2006. From June 1998 to May

2006, he was a member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank, responsible for the

Directorates General Economics and Research. Until May 1998 he was a Member of the Board of the

Deutsche Bundesbank with a seat in the Central Bank Council. Prior to that he held Chairs of Economics

at the Universities of Würzburg and Erlangen-Nürnberg. From 1988 to 1990, he was a member of the

German Council of Economic Experts. Issing is an active member of the Akademie der Wissen­schaften

und der Literatur (Academy of Sciences and Literature), Mainz, and of the Academia Scientiarum et

Artium Europaea (European Academy of Sciences and Arts).

Prof. Issing has received numerous awards and prizes: In 2006 he was awarded the Große

Verdienstkreuz des Verdienstordens der Bundesrepublik Deutsch­land. In the same year he was

appointed Grand Officier de l`Ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg. In 2007 he received the

Silver Insignia of the City of Würzburg. In 2010 he was awarded the Laurea Honoris Causa in

International Economic Integration from the University of Pavia. In 2011 he received the Gustav Stolper

Award of the Verein für Socialpolitik. In 2004 he received the International Price of the Friedrich-August-

von-Hayek-Stiftung, in 2004 the Bernhard-Harms-Medal of the Institute for World Economics, Kiel, 2005

the Hans-Möller-Medal of the University of Munich and 2006 the Ludwig-Erhard-Preis für

Wirtschaftspublizistik. Issing received honorary Professorships from Goethe University Frankfurt (2007)

and the University of Würzburg (1991) and honorary doctorates from the Universities of Bayreuth,

Frankfurt and Konstanz.

Issing headed the Advisory Council on a New Financial Order appointed by the German Chancellor

Angela Merkel (2008-2012). He also was a member of the High Level Group of the European Commission

chaired by J. De Larosière.

In addition to publishing numerous articles in scientific journals and periodicals, Issing is author of inter

alia, two textbooks, namely "Einführung in die Geldtheorie" (Introduction to Monetary Theory), fifteenth

edition 2011, and "Einführung in die Geldpolitik" (Introduction to Monetary Policy), sixth edition, 1996.

His book "Der Euro - Geburt, Erfolg, Zukunft" (English: "The Birth of the Euro") was published in 2008

(Chinese edition 2011).

Current positions: President of CFS, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gesellschaft für

Kapitalmarktforschung (2006); Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the House of Finance, Goethe

Walter B. Kielholz (Co-Chair)

Chairman of the Board of Directors (non-executive)

Swiss Re Ltd.

Walter B. Kielholz, a Swiss citizen born in 1951, was elected to Swiss Re’s Board of Directors in June

1998. He began his career at the General Reinsurance Corporation, Zurich in 1976. After working in the

US, UK and Italy, he assumed responsibility for the company’s European marketing. In 1983 he opened

an art gallery and picture framing business with his wife, Daphne Kielholz-Pestalozzi. A second gallery

was opened in 1986. He joined Credit Suisse in 1986, where he was responsible for client relations with

large insurance groups in the multinational services department.

In 1989, Walter B. Kielholz joined Swiss Re, Zurich. He became a member of the Executive Board in

January 1993 and was Swiss Re’s Chief Executive Officer from 1997 to 2002. He was Executive Vice

Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006 and Vice Chairman from 2007 to April 2009. He

was nominated Chairman with effect from 1 May 2009.

Walter B. Kielholz was a member of the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse Group AG from 1999 to May

2014 and served as Chairman from 2003 to 2009.

He is Chairman of the European Financial Services Round Table (EFR), which contributes to the European

public policy debate on issues relating to financial services and Vice Chairman of the board of the

Institute of International Finance (IIF), the world’s only global association of financial institutions.

He is also a member (president in 2006/2007) of the International Monetary Conference (IMC), an

association of the largest banks worldwide. In addition, he is a member and former Chairman of the

Board of Trustees of Avenir Suisse, a think tank for economic and social issues. From 1998 to 2005, and

again since 2009, he has served as a member of the International Business Leader Advisory Council

(IBLAC), an advisory group to the Mayor of Shanghai composed mainly of the chairs of the board and

CEOs of major global corporations. In 2009 he became a member of the International Advisory Panel

(IAP) of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which advises the MAS on the country’s financial

sector reforms and strategies.

In 2005 Walter B. Kielholz was elected by the members of the International Insurance Society to the

Insurance Hall of Fame, which honours individuals who have exercised substantial influence on the

industry for the benefit of society.

Walter B. Kielholz enjoys sailing, skiing, tennis, golf, reading, opera, concerts and art. He is Chairman of

the Zurich Art Society, which runs Zurich’s Kunsthaus museum.

Walter B. Kielholz studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and graduated in 1976

with a degree in business finance and accounting.

Gerard Kleisterlee (Co-Chair) Chairman

Vodafone Group Services Limited

Gerard Kleisterlee, aged 68, became Chairman of Vodafone Group Plc on 26 July 2011 at the conclusion

of the AGM, having previously served as a non-executive member of the Board. He retired as

President/Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Management and the Group

Management Committee of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. (‘Philips’) on 31 March 2011 after a

career with Philips spanning three decades. He has been a non-executive director of the Supervisory

Board and member of the Audit Committee of Royal Dutch Shell since November 2010, and was

previously a member of the Board of Directors of Dell Inc., resigning in October 2013 and also previously

a member of the Daimler AG Supervisory Board, resigning on 9 April 2014.

Christopher Mattheisen Chief Executive Officer

Magyar Telekom Plc.

Mr. Mattheisen (born in 1961) studied economics at Indiana University of Bloomington and at Columbia

University. He first came to Hungary in 1990 to start a strategic planning and business consulting

company. In 1993, in his capacity as a marketing manager of U.S. West International, Mr. Mattheisen

helped launch various Hungarian, Polish and Czech mobile service operators. He worked as the

marketing and sales director of Westel 900 (TMH) between 1993 and 1996. Between 1997 and 1999, he

ran sales and marketing activities of MediaOne in London and later worked in Britain as a business, sales

and marketing director of BT’s Cellnet. In September 2002, Mr. Mattheisen became Chief Officer of

Residential Services of Magyar Telekom and in January 2005, Chief Officer of the Wireline Lines of

Business (“T-Com”, including Residential Services, Internet and Network divisions). From December 6,

2006, Mr. Mattheisen has been the Chief Executive Officer of Magyar Telekom.

Hutham Olayan, President and CEO

Olayan America

Hutham S. Olayan is a principal, director and senior executive of The Olayan Group.

Ms. Olayan has headed the Group’s US presence since 1985, currently as president and CEO of Olayan

America and other US affiliates of the Group. She is responsible for all of the Group’s investment

activity in the Americas.

Ms. Olayan is a director of Morgan Stanley and a former director of Thermo Electron Corporation. She is

a member of the Executive Advisory Board of General Atlantic.

In the non-profit sector, Ms. Olayan serves on the boards of the American University of Beirut,

Georgetown University, the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics, Memorial Sloan-

Kettering Cancer Center, and The MasterCard Foundation.

Ms. Olayan is a member of international advisory bodies affiliated with The Brookings Institution and

Carnegie Middle East Center. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a founding

member of the Arab Bankers Association of North America.

Ms. Olayan holds a BA from the American University of Beirut and MBA from Indiana University.

Albert Ollé Chairman

Corporación Financiera Valora

Today Albert Ollé is founder and chairman of Corporación Financiera Valora, Presence Technology,

Emergia Customer Care and the Fundación Corporación Valora. Valora companies work in 20 countries

and employ more than 7,000 people.

Albert Ollé was one of the pioneers of the Call and Contact Center industry in Spain with the foundation

in 1989 of Difusió Telemarketing Grup, S.A. (DTG), a teleservices and CRM -Customer Relationship

Management- solutions company. In 1995 the company established itself as the most profitable

telemarketing company in the country, and as the first independent business without companies from

the world of finance or banking as shareholders in it. DTG merged with the North American

multinational Teletech Inc., Ltd. (Nasdaq TTEC) in 2000. Albert Ollé became European president of the

company, and was appointed as a member of the Group’s International Board. Marcel Planelles, Teacher

of the Business Policy Department at ESADE explains in his book From the idea to the enterprise, in the

fourth chapter From house selling to Nasdaq the entrepreneur beginnings of Albert Ollé in the world of

the so-called Telesales or Telemarketing at that time, nowadays known as Contact Center industry,

represented in Spain by the Asociación de Contact Center Española. In addition, Harvard Business

School and Esade Business School wrote two case studies about the success of Emergia, their second

history of success in the contact center industry.

Albert Ollé was member of the board of Directors of "la Caixa" between 2002-2014. He is also a Plenary

member of the Chamber of Comerç of Barcelona, a Member of Young Presidents' Organization and

Founder of the School of Life in Spain.

Josh Tom Senior Analyst

Josh Tom is Senior Analyst for The GailFosler Group. Prior to joining The GailFosler Group, he lived in

China, working in communications for the American Chamber of Commerce, teaching English to Chinese

elementary students, and preparing high school students for U.S. university applications and exams.

Josh also taught business English to company executives in Barcelona, Spain, conducted research for the

Center for the National Interest (formerly the Nixon Center) and interned for U.S. Senator Jack Reed, D-

RI. Josh was a Presidential Scholar at the University of Southern California, where he graduated cum

laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations and minor degrees in Economics and

Spanish.

Jean-Claude Trichet Honorary Chairman, Banque de France, and

Chairman, Group of 30

Jean-Claude Trichet is presently chairman of the Group of Thirty (Washington), chairman of the Board of

Directors of Bruegel Institute and chairman of the Trilateral Commission (Europe). He is a member of the

« Institut de France » (Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques).

Born in Lyon, Jean-Claude Trichet is an honorary Inspecteur général des Finances and Ingénieur civil des

Mines. He is a graduate of the Ecole nationale supérieure des Mines de Nancy, of the Institut d’études

politiques de Paris, of the Université de Paris (in economics) and of the Ecole nationale d’administration.

He worked in the competitive sector from 1966 to 1968. He was appointed to the Inspection générale

des Finances in 1971.

He was assigned to various posts at the Ministry of Finance in the General Inspectorate of Finance and

later in the Treasury Department, where in 1976 he became Secretary General of the Interministerial

Committee for Improving Industrial Structures (CIASI).

Jean-Claude Trichet was made an adviser to the President of the French Republic in 1978. In 1986 he

directed the Private Office of the Minister of Economic Affairs, Finance and Privatisation. In 1987 he

became Director of the Treasury. He was Chairman of the European Monetary Committee from 1992

until his appointment as Governor of the Banque de France in 1993. He was instrumental in the

implementation of the French strategy of “competitive desinflation” in the 80’s and the 90’s.

Jean-Claude Trichet was elected Chairman of the Group of Ten (G10) Governors on 29 June 2003. He

was elected President of the “Global economy meeting” of Central Bank governors and President of the

Group of Governors and heads of supervision (GHOS) in Basel (until October 2011). He was appointed

President of the European Central Bank on 16 October 2003 by common accord of the Governments of

the Member States that have adopted the euro at the level of Heads of State or Government for a term

of office of eight years starting on 1 November 2003 and ending on 31 October 2011. Since late 2010

and until end of October 2011, Mr Trichet has also been Chairman of the European Systemic Risk Board

(ESRB).

He was named “Person of the Year” (2007) and one of the fifty faces that shaped the decade (2009) by

the Financial Times. He was named “Policymaker of the Year” by The International Economy magazine

(1991 and 2007) and was n° 5 of the “World most powerful” in the 2008 Newsweek list as well as n° 5 of

the “most powerful figures in Finance” (Institutional Investors-2008). He was one of the “Most

influential people in the world” in Time Magazine (2011). He has received a number of awards, including

the 2011 International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen for his contribution to European unity and also

received the 2011 Global Economy Prize from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. He has been

awarded honorary doctorates by several universities (Stirling, Montreal, Liege, Tel Aviv, Bologne and

Sofia).

Hans Wijers Chairman

Heineken N.V.

Hans Wijers (1951), a Dutch citizen, is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Heineken N.V.,

Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Royal Dutch Shell, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of

AFC Ajax N.V., Member of the Supervisory Board of GlaxoSmithKline, Member of the Supervisory Board

of HAL Holding, Member of the Trilateral Commission, Chairman Natuurmonumenten and Member

Supervisory Board Concertgebouw N.V.

Hans Wijers is a graduate of the University of Groningen (cum laude) and was an Assistant Professor of

Economics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (where he received his PhD in economics).

From 2003 untill 2012 he was the CEO of AkzoNobel N.V., the world’s largest paints and coatings

company and a major producer of specialty chemicals. Before joining AkzoNobel he was a Senior Partner

and Chairman of the Dutch office of the Boston Consulting Group and served as Minister for Economic

Affairs in the Dutch government.

On June 12th 2013, he was appointed an Honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the

British Empire 1730-1930.
