A FRUIT WITH REWARD

New earth

• “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew, 5: 5)

They are taught by God

• “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way” (Psalm 25:9)

They will have peace

• “The meek will… enjoy great peace”(Psalm 37:11)

They will be saved

• “When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth” (Psalm 76:9)

God will rule in favour of them

• “With righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth” (Isaiah, 11:4)

“Meekness is a precious grace, willing to suffer silently, willing to endure trials. Meekness is patient and labors to be happy under all circumstances. Meekness is always thankful and makes its own songs of happiness, making melody in the heart to God. Meekness will suffer

HOW DOES MEEKNESS BECOME EVIDENT

disappointment and wrong, and will not retaliate.Meekness is not to be silent and sulky. A morose temper is the opposite of meekness; for this only wounds and gives pain to others, and takes no pleasure to itself”

It is no necessary for us to say that we are meek. Our behavior and our words will show the people around us that we are meek.

There is only one way to achieve meekness:Devoting oneself to God daily.

Let Him to cultivate this fruit of his Spirit in us.
