Eucharistic Ministers make Eucharist available and provide spiritual and emotional support to individuals who are hospitalized, residents of nursing homes, or homebound. Our pastoral team of volunteers loves
every opportunity to minister this way.
If you or a family member enter the hospital, or are recovering at home, call Lori Kayes at the
Church Office 661-327-4734 to arrange a visit.
The St. Francis Women's Altar Guild
The St. Francis Altar Guild will be meeting on Tuesday, March 13th at 1:00 pm in the Parish Hall.
Everyone is welcome to join us for prayer and friendship. We will be making officer and committee chairperson nominations for next year, also please
bring your ideas for emotional wellness as we continue on with our parish wellness theme.
The Altar Guild ministry is dedicated to the cleaning and maintenance of the altars, sacristy, vestments, and altar
linens, along with anything else needed in the performance of the Liturgy. The Altar Guild also serves and gives
support at funerals and receptions. It is our purpose to unite members in a spiritual bond dedicated to the mainte-
nance and care of all things related to the Altar, Liturgy, and for the Glorification of God. We all have spiritual gifts
and together we build the Body of Christ.
Anyone interested in joining or needing more information about the St. Francis Women's Altar Guild, please stop by the Parish office or contact Roylene See at 661-203-6687
or Sandi Souza at 661-322-3615.
Novena to the Divine Mercy
Please join us as we start the Novena immediately
following the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday,
March 30th in St. Francis Church, at 3PM.
We invite you to pray the Novena daily, either here in
St. Mary’s Chapel at 3PM the following weekdays,
until Divine Mercy Sunday, or in your own homes, with
family or Friends.
Divine Mercy Cenacle
The Divine Mercy Cenacle at St. Francis is a small faith group of the Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy. We meet to pray
together in gratitude to God and in petition to The Divine Mercy Chaplet; we study God’s Divine Mercy through Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, and St. Faustina’s Diary. We invite you to join us
to trust in God’s infinite mercy, and grow in your faith and relationship with the Lord.
We meet at 6:30 PM on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, except in July, and December. For the location and
