He grew up with a passion for baseball and later went on to play 4 seasons at Saint Leo University. A NCAA Division II Priority… The division will conduct its 10th festival (the third for winter sports) March 8-11. Co-hosted by the Gulf South Conference and the city of Birmingham, the festival will crown champions in men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s indoor track and field, and wrestling, uniquely celebrating the achievements of more than 1,100 DII student-athletes. The festivals continue to provide the only NCAA stage upon which multiple champions are crowned in a single event. AROUND CAMPUS We hope you consider supporting our own program. February 13 th – The Will You Be My Resume speed resume review and networking event will take place in the University Center Club Room on the second floor, from 7-8:30pm. This event is solely for student-athletes and will allow them to work with industry professionals in their field of interest and make meaningful connections, gain valuable feedback on their resume from employers in a multitude of industries and learn how to market themselves more effectively on their resume to get the attention of the hiring manager. Make sure to encourage your student-athletes to RSVP to this event at nova.joinhandshake.com. February 11 th - NSU Community Fest is an annual festival that celebrates and connects NSU students, employees, and their families in a carnival-like atmosphere around the Gold Circle Lake. The Athletics Department and SAAC will be teaming up to participate in Community Fest and will be featuring a bean bag toss. Make sure to check it out! Click here for more information.
