5. Accommodation
5.1 Main Venue Location: National Science Museum Thailand (NSM)
Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR)
All participants MUST bring your own, bath towels, sponge bag; including shampoo,
rinse, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, your personal items, etc.
No laundry room within the facility.
Room list will be distributed and arrange by APT JSO organizer upon arrival.
Room facilities for teacher’s accommodation:
The dormitory at National Science Museum Thailand (NSM), share room with same
gender (twin beds), pillow, blanket.
All participants MUST bring your own bath towels, sponge bag; including shampoo,
rinse, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, your personal items, etc.

Room facilities for student accommodation (Picture A ):
One room for four persons or one room for two persons with same gender, each
room has common shower rooms.
Four beds with a bed sheet, pillow and blanket.
Air- conditioned room.
No laundry room provided at the facility.
Please bring your own bath equipment and bath towels.

6. Reminders
PACKING
Please bring your own laptop / computer
Please bring pocket money (for individual / personal expenses)
Avoid bringing other valuable things.
Clothes (as recommended below: DRESS).
Bring a light jacket, as the temperature in venues can be cold.
Writing equipment.
Bring universal plugs and / or adaptors for electrical equipment.
Bring towels, shoes, slippers, sun-block, insect repellent, sponge bag (shampoo,
conditioner, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste), cap / sun hat and a small umbrella.
Personal belongings such as computers, wallets, money, phones, cameras, passports
will be each participants own responsibility. Participants must carry and keep these items
on their persons during the event.
HEALTH INSURANCE & MEDICAL REQUIRMENT
Each participant MUST prepare their own medical and travel insurance and it should
cover the time period during the stay in Thailand.
In case of any medical treatment required during the event in Thailand, the medical
expenses shall be at each participant’s responsibility.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Weather: June is rainy season in Thailand. The weather is usually hot and humid with
occasional thunderstorm.
Electricity: the electricity supply in Thailand operates at 220 volts AC. Bring universal
plugs and/or adaptors for your electrical equipment
Money Currency: THB (Thai Baht)
We suggest you to exchange personal pocket money into Thai Baht upon your arrival at
the airport.
