Events

At the boy scouts banquet, from the dads point of view, he thinks this is a good chance to become close until the end when the boy starts to cry. On the other hand, the son thinks this whole night was a complete embarrassment from his dad being a foolish drunk.

Summary

My rewrite is just a quick snippet of The Father short story. It is during the part when the father and son are at the banquet. Then he gets called up for the awards, up until when the boy is running blocks away from his father, sobbing.
