The Expedition SchoolThe Expedition School is a proposed K-8free, public charter school with a focus onSTEM curriculum and project basedlearning which is planning to open in theHillsborough, NC area. 3. Charter School Accountability Charter schools are rigorously monitored All charter schools must comply with the NorthCarolina ABCs Accountability Model. Multiage Small Classes (17 or less) Learning is differentiated and paced at a rate appropriateto the child. 12. According to the National Science Foundation, 80percent of jobs created in the next decade willrequire math and science skills. 13. STEM in Classroom Science 45 min per day Math 90 min per day Engineering is Elementary: hands on engineering for kids! Biotech for middle school Integrated learning (Science tied with math and writing,etc.) 14.
