Looking To The Future – Where are we now? You may remember that this past May the elders of the church outlined where we are as a church
in relation to the growth in the community and where we think the Lord is taking us so we can
reach more people for Christ. Here is a quick progress report on several important steps we are tak-
ing.
Family Pastor Search: The search team continues to be hard at work looking through resumes,
making phone calls, conducting interviews, and thinking through some specific needs. We thought
from the beginning this could be a lengthy process. The desire is to bring the right person no matter how long it takes.
We remain confident that God is at work. We continue to receive resumes and seek God’s wisdom.
Worship Leader Search: Though this was not part of the original vision we shared in May, God has worked in such a
way that we are in need of a part-time worship leader. Contacts are being made and advertisements are being posted.
Please keep this very important search process in your prayers.
Internal Review: This is a review in which the elders and deacons evaluate certain key factors of leadership. We are
about half way through this process and continue to receive feedback from the leaders.
External Review (Champs): This will be a very valuable process whereby the South Carolina Baptist State Conven-
tion will partner with TCBC in order to provide a check-up. This process allows a third party to look into various aspects
of TCBC to shed light on items that most of us do not recognize. We are in the process of forming a prayer team and a
task force for the 6 to 8 month review.
Relocation: All of the above steps reflect the careful and measured approach to seeking God for His will regarding
TCBC building on our land on Gold Hill Road. We continue to think that our current facilities are not conducive to fu-
ture growth. As we continue to witness the expansion of our area, we remained focused on bringing hope to our area.
Behind these steps is a large group of people who are sacrificially giving their time and expertise to each piece of the
puzzle. We are excited about what God has in store of Tega Cay and Fort Mill. Please keep the vision for the future in
your prayers.
In Christ Alone,
Brad

we study two new lesson units: “How to Make Good Friends” and “How to Navigate the
New Testament”. We start each SNL evening with a large group teaching time and then
break into smaller groups for deeper discussions. The last 30 minutes are set aside for music
with the children. SNL teaching sessions will run through November 22nd from 4:30-6:30pm
in Building 3. If you have an elementary age child that is interested in participating in SNL,
