The Effects of Climate Change
Birds are laying eggs earlier in the year.
Plants are blooming earlier in the year.
Mammals are coming out of hibernation. . . earlier in the year.
Rising sea temperatures are destroying coral reefs.
Species are. . .
turning on their own kind.
Islands are disappearing.
The largest animals on the planet. . . are becoming vulnerable.
In the tundra. . .
shrubs and trees are going to take root.
Shrinkage of natural habitats. . .
force animals and humans together.
Grasslands will likely become forests.
Mothers are abandoning their babies. . . to travel north.
Ice is melting. . . worldwide!
Life sustaining trees are dying.
Extreme weather is increasing.
March of the penguins. . .is becoming a march of death.
As trees move north. . .
New England’s fiery fall foliage will disappear.
16,928 of 44,838 species. . .
are threatened with extinction.
99% of these threats are caused by man.
Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.
