From the stories children can learn many new words and they will be easy to memorize it because they get it naturally based on their understanding. They also can get many language experiences from the stories like listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

b. Similarity to English words already known Once the students have some English words that relate to an English word that they are already familiar which is easier than one, which is not.
c. ConnotationConnotation of the word is another difficult aspect that the learners have to get to grip.
d. Spelling and pronunciation The spelling of English word can cause problems for students who speak languages with very regular spelling systems. Particular spelling patterns can also cause confusion where the pronunciation concerned.

Scott in Kortner (1988) explained the benefits from using storytelling as follow:1. Introduce children to a range of story experiences.2. Provide young students with models of the story patterns, themes, characters, and incidents to help them in their own writing, oral language, and thinking.3. Nurture and encourage a sense of humor in children.4. Help put children’s own words in perspective. 5. Increase knowledge and understanding of other places, races, and beliefs.6. Introduce new ideas and be used to question established concepts without threat to the individual7. Lead the discussions that are far ranging and often more satisfying than those arising from formal lessons.8. Serve as the most painless way of teaching children to listen, to concentrate, and to follow the thread and logic of argument.
