Peace Mother Geeta Sacred Song is an Enlightened “Shaktipat” Master and inter-national Peace Shaman. An ecstatic and miraculous Being, She is a Holy Mother, a recognized embodiment of the Divine Mother of the Universe, who travels the world…healing, awakening and uplifting consciousness.

Donated by Spirit to help relieve human-ity of suffering through Her Prayer Songs, Sacred Ceremonies and Teachings, She was chosen since childhood to carry on the Divine soul healing Work of the Peace Shaman Lineage.

Her Life Path led Her to the traditions of India, where She immersed Herself in healing mantras and mastered the power of healing sound to the highest degree. After this was accomplished, She was guided to apprentice with one of Mexico’s most powerful and beloved Mayan Peace Shamans, Don Jacinto Tzab.

She was trained in the Ancient Science of Mayan Soul Retrieval by Don Jacinto, who himself was initiated into the role of Peace Shaman at age 14, by His Teacher, Don Feliciano. Mayan Soul Retrieval Limpias, are a Sacred Thera-py for defending and fortifying the Light within each soul and place. This Pow-er, Honor and Responsibility has been passed down through a Lineage of Mayan Shamans for thousands of years. As the Chosen One of this Lineage, Peace Mother is the Peace Shaman of our times.

As a Divine Vessel for the Mayan Lineage, the Holy Mother bestows Her

blessings around the world, healing in-dividuals, sacred sites, and the Earth’s Land and Waters. She lovingly show-ers us with Her Grace-full, healing vibra-tion through thunderous Prayer Songs, Mantras, and Peace Ceremonies. She is known for Her uplifting Peace Concerts, inspiring music, empowering Teachings and potent tools for Spiritual Protection; mystically strengthening our connection to Divine Source and our Spirit Guides, amplifying Harmony, Radiant Health, Wisdom, Peace and Enlightenment in our lives.

The Holy Mother is the Living Sound of Light and every moment with Her can advance you spiritually in a quickened way. We have experienced that every word She utters is actually the Universe speaking!

She bestows immense blessings upon us through books, videos, the chanting CDs She has created and Mayan Soul Retriev-al “Shaktipat” Limpias.

The word ‘Limpia’ refers to a spiritual cleansing, and in “The Impeccable Warrior Of Light” book, Peace Mother has provid-ed you many ways to perform a cleansing over yourself and others. Peace Mother’s message to the world is that Peace can only be upheld by beings that are com-mitted to impeccable protection for their soul. Therefore, to protect Harmony, Health, Prosperity, Wisdom and Peace in our lives, She prescribes daily clear-ings of negative energies for every home

and being. To assist humanity in maintaining the highest and purest vibration, She has creat-ed abundant tools that enhance the Light in our lives and help us live our Highest Destiny. These can all be found on our website www.sacredpeace.org.

Spiritual protection is essential for those who wish to enjoy a Radiant Life and whether you desire to experience a quick release from pain, negative pat-terns, illness, the pain-full past, psychic attack…or experience a profound quantum leap in Higher Consciousness…you will benefit immensely from a Mayan Soul Retrieval Shaktipat Limpia with Peace Mother. The Soul Retrieval Limpia Prayer which the Holy Mother offers the Universe during Soul Retrieval sessions, has ancient roots of Pu-

rity and Power, having been bequeathed by each generation of Impeccable Sha-mans to the next Chosen One.

Soul Retrieval is an ancient science used to identify, diminish and remove negative forces creating imbalance in the aura, mind, body and personality. These im-balances fragment the soul, and thereby show up in your life in the form of mental, emotional, physical, spiritual or material problems.

Shaktipat is the ancient Vedic science of the Master (Guru) activating the inner Light within a being by infusing them with

Page 7: The Eden Magazine

brilliant Light. The Master is a channel for the blazing Light of the Universe and that magnificent Light lives within them. Shaktipat Limpias by Peace Mother are a shower of Grace, a direct flood of Light from the Divine Forces of Compassion. During the session with Peace Mother, this blazing Light is radiated into the soul of the seeker and this illuminates Wisdom and ancient memory within the person so they can experience their true nature, their Light Essence.

Peace Mother’s Soul Retrieval Work is a rare combination of the Mayan Peace Shaman’s prayers and a “Shaktipat” infu-sion of Light into the soul is the science of Soul Retrieval at the most miraculous level. During the Soul Retrieval Lim-pia, a petition in the Ancient Mayan Holy language is delivered on behalf of the recipient for a shower of Grace to flood the individual, to wash away whatever is obstructing the Purest, Brightest Light. With the Soul Healing Invocation, the

Holy Mother calls on Divine Mother’s Grace, as well as the Mayan Lineage of Master Healers, the Legions of Light and Compassionate Earth Forces that as-sist this miraculous Work. The Compas-sionate Celestial and Earth Forces each have a sacred name and as the Holy Mother calls out the holy name, each one is summoned to be present and bless the seeker. These Forces respond in a supremely mighty and benevolent way, immediately lifting negativities from the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual body of the being.

The Divine Grace petitioned by Peace Mother is quickly gifted to the recipient. Everyone who experiences Soul Retriev-al Work with the Holy Mother feels the effects immediately and emerges look-ing radically different; they absolutely glow! Once free of the layers of limiting energies acquired over a Lifetime, they are able to feel an intense connection to Spirit. They look younger, feel lighter,

Page 8: The Eden Magazine

stronger and clearer about their Life, as Trust and Peace are heightened in them. The Soul Retrieval Limpias open the door to unlimited blessings. Some of these blessings are easy to spot immediately while others will reveal themselves later on, as the movement of the Kundalini (Spiritual Energy-Life Force) is bal-anced, and Wisdom is activated within the individual. Messages regarding one’s Lifecondition often surface within the seek-er, as well as Clarity as to which spiri-tual practices will benefit them the most. All knowledge that arises in the ndividual from each SoulRetrieval-Shaktipat Limpia

is a direct communication from Spirit in order to help the seeker reach their High-est Destiny.

Although Holy Mother rarely performs individual Shaktipat Limpias in person, we are blessed She continues to shower this Soul Remedy via the online record-ing that She has created which is avail-able at our site www.sacredpeace.org. She also sometimes offers Shaktipat Limpias through conference calls or via remote prayers at Her altar. Whether a Pure Being such as the Holy Mother performs Soul Retrieval prayers over someone via phone or remote means, individually or in a group setting, the power of those prayers is tangibly seen and felt, because Grace knows no limita-tions. As is the case with other Saints,

the Grace residing within the Holy Mother transcends walls, time or distance!

There is no area of our lives that has not been improved due to the Holy Mother’s Grace. The infusion of Light delivered during Shaktipat Limpias expands con-sciousness in a mystical, miraculous way, resulting in rapid spiritual growth. We, the Peace Team members that support Peace Mother’s mission, have experienced that whenever there is a challenge blocking our path, by listening to the online recording of the Shaktipat Limpia, the problem is quickly removed.

Solutions miraculously appear! We have witnessed how amazingly the Shaktipat Limpias assist us with spiritual—emo-tional—mental—and physical challenges. For example, one Peace Team member constantly walked hunched over and one day Peace Mother asked him why he did not straighten his posture. He replied that he could not and that if he tried to, he experienced intense pain. The Soul Retrieval Shaktipat Limpias healed his back and since then, he is able to stand up straight without pain!

Meditate, sing, dance, drum, chant, rejoice!Take refuge in your spiritual practices.

All paths lead to the Sacred Temple of the Heart. ~ Peace Mother Geeta Sacred Song

Q: What other results have been seen from Soul Retrieval Limpias? All the Divine Forces work together to cleanse you psychically, physically, emotionally and spiritually. They help remove obstacles and karmic chains causing the problems, often with miraculous results. There have been cas-es of people who could not speak, eat or move due to dark forces pushing them towards death. They quickly regained Life-Force and began to lead a healthy Life once again.

In other instances, through the Holy Mother’s prayers, there have been those who were suddenly able to walk, even though minutes before they could not even stand up! She has done healing work over individuals with multiple large tumors, and has seen their tumors shrink or disappear. Addictions of years upon years have been dissolved, allowing the person to go forth and blossom. Personality disorders have been replaced with Balanced, self-honoring behavior. Cou-ples who were entangled in hostil-ity were able to discover harmonious ways to proceed and interact with each other. Some divorces were avoided as the couples reconciled with new understanding and appreciation of each other; other’s whose souls had completed the time they were meant to be married, were able to move on to a different way of relating to each other, in Peace and Respect.

Mayan Soul Retrieval Limpias have changed family dynamics, helped chil-dren, men and women through their

karmic challenges and empowered many to emerge triumphant! Each time the Holy Mother lifts negative influences from the soul, Divine Mother gifts the being a thicker protective shield against psychic attack.

Each Soul Retrieval Limpia dissolves layers of fear and bestows greater knowl-edge on how to disintegrate evil forc-es. Grace breaks down inner and outer barriers and the individual is able to experience a sense of spiritual protection and safety.

Most definitely the list of transformations and salvations is too long to cover here, so we just share with you a few examples. It is utterly amazing to watch the soul healing occur! Many cry during their sessions or afterwards at the miracle they saw and felt.

Many share that Soul Retrieval Limpias opened up their Third Eye enabling them to actually feel or see the indescribable presence of their Angels or Spirit Guides, infusing them with a lightness and close-ness to God not known before. Soul Retrieval Limpias by the Holy Mother are known to bestow a new Life brimming with fresh enthusiasm for the Path and a bright outlook on Life! They help us be the Divine beings we truly are.

Q: How do Soul Retrieval Limpias dis-solve my Karma – past life and current? As the Holy Mother teaches, “Karma locks you into certain patterns of behavior, ex-periencing repetitive life lessons and a feeling of lack of choice. Yet, the truth is you all ways have choice! With the help of of Divine Grace, you can travel the direct path to happiness and fulfillment, instead of remaining stuck on the much longer route full of pain-laden adventures.”

During the Soul Retrieval Limpias, all of Peace Mother’s Spirit Guides, as well as your Angels and Spiritual Protectors, are called forth to scan your past and present karma as well as your Highest Destiny. The Divine Forces are petitioned to dissolve any negative, limiting karmic impressions – past Life, childhood or current. Through Divine assistance, the healing process of any condition or issue, past or present, is sped up. Karma can be burned up quick-ly, allowing you to experience FREEDOM and an exciting new future. Step out of your old self. Become a true change within you. Become the change in the world.

World needs changes.People need changes.

They crave to watch a great difference, something provocative in a spiritual way to say, or in a literal way of speaking.

Look at the news feed and you might see a lot of interesting issues .What is offered to people to watch on screen, and what mental food people choose to be fed with.

Suddenly they realize that they are fed up because of the trash they are fed with from media.

Watch the word “feed “ ! It’s everywhere!

Info is a very close relative to “feed”. Info is a means of feeding people’s minds.

What are they pleased of being fed with? Are their minds nurtured by Love and Loving thoughts or abused by violence, sexism, and hate in news and media?

You wonder why they accept all these subliminal messages on sexism, corrup-tion, abuse, hate, wrath and control in music industry.

All these messages are constructed by means that are derived from control-lov-ers.

The content of these messages itself is one of control based origin and outcome.

All these non-benevolent signs are com-ing from non-benevolent origins, in order to molest, harness, and finally control people’s hearts. Not all hearts, but only those who are weak hearts.

By Debra J. White www.debrajwhite.com

Dad met me in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport on a wintry night in 1987. Hugging him, I felt a man much thinner than two years before. Dad shrugged it off to touch foot-ball. We both laughed. I urged him to eat better and take vitamins.

We retrieved my luggage then headed to a nearby parking lot. After a few min-utes of aimless plodding up and down the aisles, I said, “Where’s the car?”“I guess it’s not here,” Dad said, tugging at his sparse gray hair.

Perplexed, Dad always had excellent re-call. In his younger years, he made shop-ping lists but rarely used them. He knew everyone’s phone number. Now he acted like a feeble old man. “Let’s try another lot,” he said. “It’s probably there.”

Lugging my suitcase, we dodged swarms of passengers headed to the main termi-nal. At the end of a long day and a bumpy ride from New York City, I was ready for bed. From Dad’s frazzled look, I sensed the car wasn’t in the second lot either. He shuffled

up and down rows of parked cars, staring at every blue Pontiac. None belonged to him. “Do you have any idea where you parked?” I asked, trying to hide my im-patience. “I’m sure it’s the next one.” He pulled out a hanky and wiped his sweaty brow despite the Windy City chill. While Dad wandered through yet another parking lot, I listened to the grumblings in my stomach. I hadn’t eaten since lunch. Then, I caught him fumbling to open a car that obviously wasn’t his.

“Damn it, where’s the car?” Tears swelled his eyes and I felt like a heel. I took the keys from his trembling hand and hugged him. “It’s OK, Daddy. We’ll find the car. Do you remember anything? Color of the car next to yours? A sign near the exit?”

He shook his head no. “Let’s keep trying,” I said. Continued searching eventually turned up my father’s blue Pontiac. As we drove home, silence blanketed the car. I didn’t know what to say. Neither did my father.

Where’s the car, Dad?

My mother had warned me about Dad’s fading memory. She brushed it off to nor-mal aging. So did I. After 65 who has pinpoint recall? After watching him for a few hours, Dad’s problems were far more ominous. I hesitated to utter the A word but it was clear he showed symptoms of Alzheimer’s. As a child, my father helped me unravel math. At the start of every school year, Dad covered our textbooks with plain brown paper and jotted our names on each one. He shopped for groceries every Friday night. Sometimes he even cooked. If I scraped my knee, he kissed it and promised I’d feel better. On weekends, he took my older brother and me for adven-tures. We rode the bus to Central Park and played by the Alice in Wonderland statue. In the summer we drove to Rocka-way Beach and stuffed our faces with hot dogs and potato knishes along the board-walk. We built sand castles, swam in the ocean and let waves crash over our sun-screen slathered bodies. For mindless fun he took us to the East River to watch rats scurry along the moldy rocks. As city kids we were easy to please. Dad worked in a factory so we scrounged to make ends meet. If there was leftover money, Dad treated us to ice cream cones dipped in sprinkles or bought us cheap games in Julie’s, the corner toy store. Now and then he treated our family at the Greek Diner for a hunk of meat loaf and mashed potatoes swimming in gravy.

We spent a few weeks each summer at my mother’s rural Alabama home. Horri-fied, I watched my grandmother Ludera

strangle a chicken for the evening meal. I couldn’t get the bird’s desperate clucks out of my six-year old mind as it screeched its last breath. I refused to eat fried chicken for the rest of our trip. At home, I kept up my meatless protest. My father swore that chicken in New York City came from the grocery store so I backed down and ate chicken and dumplings. My father didn’t heed the call to “go over there” in World War II because both his parents died young. He raised his only brother Nicky, about ten years his junior. Nicky was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer when he was only 39 years old. At Nicky’s funeral, my father lost it. That was the only time I saw him cry.

Every morning he rose early and read the New York Daily News. He soaked up the evening news with Walter Cronkite. He played Solitaire and did crossword puz-zles. He may have only had a high school education but my father knew what went on in the world. Despite factory work, Dad left every morn-ing dressed in a clean white shirt and tie. In winter, he wore a long wool coat and a gray fedora. He looked snazzy for a man who earned so little money and handled the printing presses.

Dad’s quick thinking saved our shab-by brick apartment building from burn-ing to the ground when I was a kid. Late one night, a careless tenant tossed a lit cigarette down the dumbwaiter, a pulley system that transported trash from apart-ments to the basement.

Page 18: The Eden Magazine

18 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

Joe Cavanaugh, our shiftless superin-tendent, hadn’t emptied out the garbage in several days. Within seconds, a fire swirled through the garbage chute. My mother called the Fire Department and dad, clad only in cotton pajamas, hustled up and down the hallway dumping buck-ets of water down the dumbwaiter. The fire doused the lights and all the tenants evacuated the building, but my dad con-tinued to pour water down the garbage chute. Soon, the Fire Department arrived and took over. Dad felt funny standing outside in his skivvies but officials praised his heroism. Alzheimer’s picked apart his mind slowly. First his memory frittered away. He quit smoking because he forgot how. That ben-efitted his health although we were sorry he quit under those circumstances. Over time his behavior worsened. He walked to a nearby vet’s office to surrender his cat. The vet called my mother who retrieved both Buffy their big hairy dog and my fa-ther. My mother’s frustrations bubbled over into squabbles with my father to act normal but he couldn’t. Mix-ups over appliance use came next. Dad looked at a toaster and said, “What’s this for?” “Nothing,” my mother said, fearing he might stick a knife into it. Out of neces-sity, my mother stopped enjoying toast for breakfast. Dad was a danger to himself and others. In between bouts of confusion and mem-ory loss wandering started. Dad had his favorite spots. He walked to the center of town where he greeted customers dining

at the Chinese restaurant. Other times he shook hands with hordes of passengers boarding the commuter rail into Chicago. A stranger once saw my mother guiding my father into a doctor’s office. The man said, “Is this your husband?” “Yes,” my mother said. “Why, do you know him?”

He stands at the train station a few morn-ings a week and waves to everyone. He’s the greatest guy.” The man hugged my dad and went on his way. “Hey Don, we miss you at the train station.

”Smiling, Dad waved at the man.

My mother stuffed a small card with his name, address and phone number inside his pocket. That saved his life when he roamed about five miles away. A small business owner noticed Dad standing on a street corner, mumbling to himself. She brought Dad inside, served him or-ange juice and called the police. The offi-cer drove him home, thanks to the card in his wallet. Dad offered to teach the officer how to audit tax returns yet he knew little about tax returns. Thankfully the officer declined.

No longer able to manage his Social Se-curity my mother had the money taken out of his name. Dad told the bank manager that my brother Donald, who calledthe fat guy, stole all his money. The only truth was my brother’s ample girth.

“I felt bad taking away his independence,” my mother said. “I had no choice. He stood on the corner and often donated

Page 19: The Eden Magazine

19 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

cash to people. I was afraid someone might hurt him.” Soon after, the state of Illinois cancelled his driver’s license. Convinced he could drive, Dad took the car while my mother napped. He creamed another car about four blocks from home. No one was hurt and the responding officer fortunately re-alized my father wasn’t all there. To keep him from driving my mother had to hide the car keys. He didn’t take the loss of his license very well. Living with my father was stressful. He rarely slept, constantly paced, and was dangerous if left alone so my mother considered adult day care. At first, she hedged. “He won’t like it.” “He won’t know where he is,” I said from my Boston home. “Give it a chance. You’ll feel better too.” Sure enough, as soon as she dropped him off, Dad forgot where he was. He of-ten forgot my mother’s name or they were married. Several days a week in adult day care eased my mother’s stress. After a few months, Dad lost control of his bowels and bladder. He tried sawing off his toe to relieve an itch. My mother could no longer ignore the need for nurs-ing home placement. I visited him a few months later at the home. He had no idea who I was. He looked at me and said, “Don’t I know you?” “Yes Daddy, you know me.” I hugged him.“Meet me friend Terry,” I said. “She drove

from Boston with me.”“I’m black too,” Dad said, referring to Terry’s African American heritage. “No Daddy, you’re not black.”“I’m not?” Dad’s behavior at the home cost my moth-er a bundle. Each patient’s photo was posted outside their room for identifica-tion. For unknown reasons, that irked my father. He ripped them apart. The home put up new photos. He tore them down too. I’m not sure why he finally stopped. Towards the end his mind was so sacked by disease that he tore up salt packets and poured them in his slippers. He lost his false teeth. The nursing home never found them. He told everyone his chil-dren were Korean. He held hands with a strange woman who he wanted to marry and have children with. He didn’t know his name. Finally, he stopped speaking and refused food.

My father died almost on my birthday on May 30, 1992, the result of his life-long tobacco habit. Lung cancer, not Al-zheimer’s, caused his death. Celebrating my birthday anymore is just too painful. I loved my father for teaching me respect for all living creatures, including the alley cats my neighbors shooed away. My fa-ther showed dignity and pride working in a dirty stinking factory. Who cared if we watched river rats on Sunday afternoon? We shared quality time. He loved his little girl and I adored him. He was my hero. I always hoped I made him proud.

CHANGE

Changes are forever...eternal. Life is Change. So what do you wish to be in relation to the changes that have gone on in the past, are going on right now, and the possible changes that will come in the future? There are many states of BEING; sad, happy, victim, perpetrator, apathetic, intrusive, etc. We all get to choose.

Page 21: The Eden Magazine

21 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

What many do not realize is that your choices place you on a certain frequency. Yes, in other words, YOU place yourself exactly in a position to get MORE OF WHAT YOU ALREADY FEEL, depend-ing on what you decide to BE, in other words, what you are ‘vibrating. ’So, if you feel ‘sad,’ more experiences of sadness from this change will occur; if you feel happy, more happy experiences will come from this change; if you feel victimized, more experiences to feel you are a victim will come to you, etc. Knowing that Change is Life AND that Life is Change is important. Deciding what you wish to be in relation to these changes, preferably ahead of time, will save you much heartache and trauma. Now many argue that changes come so quickly, and they merely are reacting to them; that they ‘can’t help it.’ Not true, for with each and every experience comes the opportunity to think before you react. Yes, we are use to ‘reacting,’ without thinking. In fact, most of us do this all the time, blaming our ‘reactions’ on our emotions (and of course, blaming others for our emotions that surface!). Some typical statements, such as, “I can’t help it...,” “I just reacted...,”It’s all YOUR fault,”... “It’s just WHO I AM!” etc., etc., etc.

These statements occur when one is ‘asleep” spiritually; that part is true, but it is incorrect to think we are powerless., for we always have a choice. Yes things come fast, and so do our emotions and then our reactions, but that one tenth or so of a second can be used to prolong our reaction, giving us time to “think again.” Practice makes perfect. No truer words have been spoken. We can all do this. It is a matter of DECIDING to Be Aware. And Awareness IS also a state of Being, and definitely, a choice, as is all of life. What do you choose in relation to thisinformation? That, as everything is always up to you. Make that your prior-ity; always LET it be ONLY UP TO YOU, and no one else.

Afraid of Change is something most people demonstrate, most likely with-out realizing, by feeling indecisive. The more we feel confused, and acknowl-edge THAT BEING STATE through our thoughts, words, or deeds, the harder a decision will be. How to erase the fear of decision-making? State out loud (which is more powerful---the pow-er of THE WORD), or to oneself, that you KNOW. Just that. By stating you KNOW, the answer will come, and thus the decision.

CHANGEBy Ellen Heller

Making a decision always brings change, and so does making no decision at all. BOTH produce an outcome. There-fore, why not be the CAUSE of your experience by actively (and with aware-ness), making a conscious decision instead of ‘unconsciously?’ All we must do is to remember that ALL CHANGE IS GOOD. We may argue this point in that some life changes seem so painful, but the truth is this: when we are no longer growing/evolving, a change will occur. Why? Because Life is eternal, and adap-tive. When something becomes taxing or stagnant, a change will occur, to keep life going. And this includes even when a lifetime seems to end for someone. The truth is that Life keeps going. Truly we have endless ‘second chances.’ Thus, to remember that “change is always good’ takes away fear, and a good decision (one that merits evolu-tion) will result. So remember, decide to be what you wish to experience. Always take a brief moment to ask yourself, “is this what I wish to be in relation to...’ And to decide to be the Greatest and Grandest Version and Vision of yourself, always produces the Highest Good and Grandest Experience!

For more information on this subject, a wonderful book by Neale Donald Walsch, entitled “When Everything Changes, Change Everything,’ is available.

Blessed Be!

Kind Guidance for Creating and Accepting Spiritual Health

Q A&Spirit-Minded

(Advice Column)

Ask Ellen Heller

Question: Dear Spirit-Minded: I feel that so many people are ‘taking from me.’ I try my best to be a good person, do to them what I would wish for myself, etc., but all I get are ‘takers!” What am I do-ing wrong? Signed: Used

Answer: Dear Used: It is commend-able to be kind to others, and to love them; the other part of this statement is to question whether you are treating YOURSELF the same way? What we do not like about others is what we are do-ing to ourselves; what we Love about others, is whom we REALLY ARE (for

you cannot see goodness in another unless you are also BEING THAT!) So looking at your statement, maybe you are ‘taking from YOU?’ Give to you AS you would give to another. Would you allow someone else to be taken advan-tage? Are you giving to yourself the same as you are giving to another? Once you do this for YOU, your ‘out-er’ reality will change and more people will ‘show up’begin Givers, as you GIVE TO YOU! Blessings! PS/ Selfish in this sense is “fishing for oneself.” It is ok to do this. “Self centered” is ONLY thinking of Self, and is the opposite of healthy caring for Self. Blessings!

The concept of karma as understood by us so for is that the karma is sum total of all our actions, births after births and embedded in the soul. Soul gets a physical body to unfold its karmic afflictions. At the end of the present body, karmic account is either credited or debited not only with the net result of our actions, but also individual thoughts and actions, during this period. Karma is always related to rebirth.

Brhadaranyaka Upanishad (III.ii.12) asks “When this man dies, what is that that does not leave him?” This question can be answered in two ways. The first answer could be that everything leaves him to ultimately disintegrate. The physi-cal body that existed earlier consumed either to the fire or to the earth making the annihilation of the body complete. The Upanishad itself answers this ques-tion in the next verse by saying that a man in known either by his good or bad actions. Therefore, it becomes apparent that one’s actions have direct relevance to his behaviour. Every ac-tion performed by a man during his life time is recorded in his soul in the form of karmas. This can be compared to the black box of an aircraft. Again, a soul cannot decide on its own, but it is bound by the Divine law called “Law of Karmas”. Soul acts on the basis of results of moral efficacy of individual actions. Moral is important because, mere evil thoughts are more than enough to cause serious ramificationson an already inflicted soul. This is based on the fact that everyman at some point of time not only develops malign thoughts, but also nurtures it. This is the main reason that differenti-ates an ordinary man from a yogi.

When somebody is dying, his activities both voluntary and involuntary cease to function one after another. Again, there is a reference in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad for this (IV.iv.2). It says that the gross body gets united with the subtle body. ‘Through the brightened top, the self (soul) departs, either through the eye or through the head or through

any other part of the body (the soul is believed to exit a body through any one of the nine holes known as’ nava-dvara’). When the soul departs from the body, other vital forces and organs follow one after another there-by making the annihilation of the body complete. Now the man becomes a body, he becomes it. The next verse says about rebirth. The impressions of the past birth take hold of another body in the form of a soul, as per the quality of the impressions. The impres-sions or vasanas affect the quality of the soul. The quality of the impressions depends upon the good or bad actions influenced by either good or bad thoughts. There are only two possibilities for the soul. It has the capacity to enter into another physical body that could be in any form or shape, may be after a period of quiescence or instanta-neously. There is no differentiation be-tween a human soul and an animal soul or an insect soul or a plant soul, etc. For all living species, soul is the same. The other option for the soul is to merge with the Brahman and cease to exist forever.

The latter option is the topic of discussion of all the Upanishads. In a nutshell the quality of a soul depends upon its karmic account. Karmic account accrues due to desires and attachments, which are the products of mind. Mind is the single fac-tor that is solely responsible for karmic account that decides the quality of the soul. The quality of the soul is respon-sible for pains and pleasures in this birth.

There are contradictory opinions about the respite for the soul.

25 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

Page 26: The Eden Magazine

Some think that a soul takes rest between two births and the resting place depends upon its karmic ac-count. The resting places are called heaven and hell. Others are of the opin-ion that the souls wander in the ether or akash till it takes another form. Oth-ers believe that a soul hibernates in the cosmos for a period of time and gets activated when the time is ripe for it to get into another body. There are so many theories and most of these theories depend upon one’s belief, largely influenced by religion.

The Upanishad again asks “Do you know how people diverge after death? Do you know how they return to this world?” This question has already been answered above. There are only two possibilities. One is to born again which is the case with majority of the souls and another is merger with the Lord not to be reborn again and the num-ber is minuscule and literally negligible. There is always a doubt lingering in our minds about the punishment meted out to the soul for wrong doings. It is generally believed that effects of any actions are recorded in the soul in one’s karmic account. Charaka Samhita, an ancient ayurvedic treatise describes karma (I.49) as “action in the form of curative effort is known as karman”.

Karma does not mean merely actions, but includes even contemplation to do an act. The samhita further says that ‘karman’ present in the matter (soul) is the cause for birth and death. Soul does not depend upon on any external support and purely relies on the karmic

effect. Since soul is subtle, it has to act only through a gross form. Action of a physical body therefore purely depends upon one’s karmic account that cannot act independently. It takes the support of the mind to unfold its actions. Mind is not external factor to the soul. Both mind and soul cohabit in a human form. Consciousness is the effect of mind influenced by karmic account and sensory organs. Millions of people practice meditation, but only a handful of them reach its logical conclusion. Meditation is not a process to sit erect and breathe in a particular way.

Meditation is a process of under-standing the Creator within the self by questions and answers. Otherwise, Upanishads would not have spokenabout the Brahman in the form of affirmations and negations. The suc-cess of meditation not only depends upon one’s own efforts, but also should be permitted by his karmic account. Karmic account alone provides the will to meditate. The quality of the soul not only depends upon its karmic account (actions), but also depends upon its abil-ity to realize its Creator through knowl-edge.

Brhadaranyaka Upanishad (VI.ii.16) says “those who do not know these two ways become insects and moths”.The two ways are meditation and rituals. Bhagavad Gita is the treasure house of spirituality that provides necessary knowledge required for Self-realization.

26 THEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

Page 27: The Eden Magazine

The process of birth and death is highly painful. Chandogya Upanishad (V.x.6) says “vai khalu durnishprapataram” which means ‘for sure the way is difficult.’ The life time of worms, insects and tiny creatures are much shorter than that of a man and being born as worms and in-sects means frequent rebirths. When the soul transmigrates frequently, it feels the pain of transmigration every time. There is a huge difference between those who quieten their mind to realize the Brah-man and those who involve in rituals. Meditation alone is capable of providing salvation by putting an end to eschatol-ogy of a soul.

The human birth gives an opportunity for the soul to realize its Creator and the abil-ity to merge with Him. The human birth is considered supreme because, the soul that enters a human form has the ability to act on two fronts. One is the mind and another one is karma. The more one is capable of realizing its creator the karmic account becomes less influencing. But a vast majority of the humans are either by ignorance or by lack of will lose out the given opportunity to obtain liberation for the soul. The underlying principle of rein-carnation in various forms is the process of sustenance and evolution. Without crops both animals and humans cannot survive. The law of karma is so beauti-fully enacted by God that every aspect of creation was taken care of adequately. The interdependency plays such a piv-otal role in God’s creation that co-habita-tion becomes indispensable for the very survival.

Transmigration of a soul from creatures

to humans happens with the full con-sciousness of the soul. This is the rea-son for attaching importance for con-sciousness. When a soul transmigrates from a human form to lower forms, it loses its consciousness. The Brahman can be realized only through higher level of consciousness, an opportunity made available by the Brahman only to Homo sapiens. Chandogya Upanishad de-clares (V.x.7) ‘among them, those who did good work in this world attain a good birth and those who did bad work attain a bad birth accordingly, being born as dog, a pig, etc.’

Your Connection to the Animal Kingdom

Page 29: The Eden Magazine

29 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

WE speak to you now about your connection to other souls that are in the form of that which you would call animals. WE wish and desire for you to have a clear view of just how big a part they play in your life. Animals give you gifts such as food, pleasure, and undying uncondi-tional love. And if you look carefully, many times animals are your early warning system, take advantage of it.

For instance, just before an earthquake hits an area on your home, your plan-et, your earth, the animals, due to their heightened senses, feel the earth beneath them move. They will begin to behave differently - barking and cackling, moo-

ing and snorting - for they know and un-derstand full well that something is out of the norm. Dogs and cats can warn you of disease within your body if you take note of them oftentimes. Animals can lead one to water and can let you know when rain is coming. Yes, indeed they are a gift and your partners on earth.

However, more than anything else, animals can and do allow you to see the beauty of it all. Animals give you insight into self and are a beacon to allow you to see US/ God each time you look into their eyes. Fore, yes, they are US as are you in many different forms, shapes, and sizes. Fore, WE are everything!

Your Connection to the Animal Kingdom

WE are Everything

Following is an excerpt from OUR book to you, From God to You: Absolute Truth, the first book of truth WE sent to all of you through the person of Elliott. We have added a few more examples of US in animal form to drive home a point to you.

WE are the animal kingdom. WE are over 75,000 species of Phylum Protozoa. WE are the 6,000 species of moss animals and all the Lower Invertebrates. WE are all forms of Amoeba and Ribbon worms. Have not you noticed how the worm churns the soil? Have not you pondered on the sound of the Bush-cricket or the colors of the South African grasshopper? How about the Colorado beetle or the ferocity of the piranha? Please take note of the Mudskippers or the Betta splen-dens of Thailand, the magnificent fight-ing fish. How can many of you say WE do not speak to each of you? Maybe you should study up on the lizard with a hump or the Martial eagle, for WE are them and they also are You. Allow US to continue on with this current conver-sation, as WE ask you about your love affair with the Orangutan and the broth-erly love they display when young.

Are YOU telling US that you do not feel US when YOU see the Jack rabbit or the Deer mouse? Could it be you do not see US in the Canadian tree porcupine that is a salt addict as many of YOU? Perhaps the Lion or Tiger or Walrus or Elephant do not remain reminders of US? WE, sometimes, gaze in amazement at

you as WE watch you watch the Wilson’s Storm Petrel dance on the water. Cannot you see US in the beauty of the Pileated Woodpecker or the small Yellow Warbler? Have not some of you taken notice of the Immature Snowy Owl or the great Bald Eagle? It is impossible for the fox and the hound, the dog and the cat, the moose and the fawn not to bring about remembrance of who YOU are. WE are the rat and the chipmunk, the horse and the cow. See US!

Of course, WE will continue. When your dog lays his or her head in your lap, it is US helping and assisting you with compassion. When you watch your cat running around chasing a ball, it is US giving you laughter and contentment. When the ferret shimmies up its owner’s arm, it can only bring visions of love and affection. Every time one of your birds speaks or mimics some sound that has become imbedded in what you would understand to be their recall psyche, WE are showing you an additional wonder of your universe. If you go to a horse race, the understanding of majes-ty should come to mind. Feeding ducks and geese is your soul sending out acts of kindness. Don’t you see, don’t you feel how animals, in most cases, bring out the best in you?

Even if you are approached by a big grizzly bear or a snake in their natural habitat, it is a message that you may be somewhere that is not in your highest good to be and/or that you must remem-ber to respect all things on planet earth.

Further, certain animals assist you in remembering the delicate balance be-tween that which you understand to be as civilization and that which you understand to be as the wild. Additionally, animals bring about remembrance of the need for cohabitation and coexistence between all forms of US. WE give you great gifts through animals. You are interconnected with them. You are dwellers of the same sphere. You are travelers on the same road, taking the same journey only in different encasements. Fore, understand that their souls also seek reunification with the Oneness. That is the way of truth for you and for all on planet earth.

However and moreover, understand that WE are the fast and the slow, the yes and the no. WE are the maybe and might be. WE are the dance and the song, the lyr-ics and the melody. WE are the rock and the sand, the bottle and the broom. WE are the mask and the sign, the rum and the wine, the speakers you use and the phone that rings. WE are all things. Do you see US?

Remember, WE love you with a love so deep it cannot be measured.

All living cell tissue keeps, generates and transfers energy. Science these days is able to verify a broad variety of energies which produce the energy field that permeates and encloses all liv-ing creatures. These energies that infuse all living things consist of electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic ener-gies, biophotons, light, sound, and heat. All living things have their own distinctive frequency. Every living thing on the planet interacts with each other’s energy field including plants, minerals and so on.

The lengthier and friendlier the interaction be-tween the energy fields, the more energy that is exchange. Every energy field holds a wealth of facts about a person and mirrors the spiritual, mental, physical, aspects of the person. You can sense these facts from and within the energy field generally at the unconscious level, with some of them sometimes coming to conscious awareness as a gut feeling.

The human energy field is generally perceived (1) kinaesthetically, through your feelings, emo-tions and (2) visually as an appearance of white or pastel coloured light surrounding the body.

All spiritual, shamanic and yogic traditions are abun-dant in methods and advice on the fortification of this energy field, or aura. The aura is like the mind and the body, it flourishes on a healthy way of living: a healthy diet, positive thinking, fresh air, a goal in life, healthy relationships, doing the work you want to do, integrity, being in contact with na-ture, expressing yourself, proper breathing, adequate rest, regular ex-

ercise, meditation all these activities will strengthen the aura as well as using mudras.

How to strengthening the aura with a mudra to draw energy

into the body (a mudra is a sacred gesture or movement. While some mudras involve the whole body, most are

done with the fingers and hand). Stretch out your little fingers and your

index fingers then make a circle by touching your thumbs to the tips of the two remaining fingers. What happens is that energy comes in through the little and index fingers when they are stretched out like an antennae; the energy is then lock in and held in the circle made by the other three fingers. It is an act of purpose that draws universal life force and permits it to come in to the body through the energy routes that end or begin in the fingertips and through

the palm chakras. With this exact hand position, we can pull energy into the aura and the body to

heal and make them stronger.

If you practice this mudra everyday with the intent to draw in energy to strengthen the body and aura for at

least three to five minutes at a time you will soon feel full of energy and have a positive change in mood.

Good Luck!

Red Tape Movement

By Prabhat Misra

Page 35: The Eden Magazine

35 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

Red Tape Movement is an ‘’’awareness movement’’’ to save the trees by tying ‘’’red tape on the tree trunk’’’ and to ‘’give the message that to cut the tree is harm-ful to the NATURE and BIODIVERSITY’’. This movement is the ’’peoples participa-tion movement at grass root level’’.

This movement was started by me (Prabhat) on 5th June, 2008, in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, India, apart from my government job. ([http://www.etawah.nic.in)

This movement is a ‘’’peaceful movement and is not against government policies’’’. It is

gaining the support of local peoples. Some local N.G.Os., like ‘Swami Vi-vekanand Seva Sansthan’, are co-operating in this movement. Un-der this movement, we choose a village and on holiday, we go to this village and with the help of local villagers, do plantation and then start tying red tapes on existing trees trunks. Initially we faced some problems but now we are gaining the support of local people, both from urban and rural regions. Till now, we tied Red Tapes on about 10000 trees.

Such peoples participation movements are the need of the hour to save our biodiversity and nature. We also participated in many international events organized by inter-national organisations such as 350.org, WWF. Photographs of participation are available at TWITTER

I am specially thankful to to my friend Maryam Morrison my friend, my wife Dr. Mamta Shukla, my son Master Sushmit, President Mr. Sanjay Saxena, Swami Vivekanand Seva Sansthan n.g.o.,

CEO of SCoN n.g.o Dr. Rajeev Chauhan, and my Guru Dr. Dilawar Singh Sandhu for giving their support and inspiration to my movement.

DRAGONS

Water Monitor Lizards are the second largest lizard in the world and can reach a length of 6-8 feet long and weigh up to 125 lbs., capable of eating 45% of their body weight at one sitting. Most of the time they do not eat that much due to being captive bred, as their diet is monitored. They will eat a va-riety of different animals and are definitely NOT vegetarian. They eat clams, crayfish, fish, rats, mice...pretty much anything they can find, whether alive or dead.

Regarding gender, the male water monitor is much more active than the female and will cover a much larger amount of territory due to their search for females during breeding season. Some-

times when a female is ready to bred, two or three males will surround her, and she will allow up to three males to breed with her in one session. The reason nature creates this is that it keeps the species clean from being bred by the same par-ent. With so many males in one breed-ing season, it prevents inner breeding as one section of eggs are fertilized by one male, and then a second group, and then a third group from different males, all with the same female.

Once a female has carried the fertilized eggs for the gestation period, she begins to look for a place to nest. When she has found a suitable place, which can best be described as a consistent temperature, (86-89 degrees F); the higher the tem-perature, males are produced , as all start out as females.

Page 37: The Eden Magazine

37 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • October 2012

Monitor lizards are capable of complete recall in memory. They remember their surroundings, landmarks, and can con-template the shortest point to ambush prey, or in captivity, how to escape. This remarkable trait differentiates them from other lizards, and in this regard, they are ‘thinking Beings,’ just as people.

This exotic animal is sometimes sold in pet stores. The general public are not educated enough to be consistent in care-giving this extremely sensitive lizard. Temperature, diet, humidity are just a few important aspects of raising a healthy monitor lizard. Understanding the nature of this animal is essential. This lizard is definitely NOT for children, but only should be owned by experienced people whom are interested in Herpetol-ogy as their hobby or lively-hood. The disposition of this animal is calm IF left

alone. It shies from people, however, and if felt there is any confrontation, will react in defense. Biting, clawing, tail whipping, and running scared, (jumping out of some-one’s hands or arms), is to be expected. However, if raised early on, and worked with daily; treated with Love respect, and IF the owner has a good understanding and is extremely patient, these animals can come to their name, eat from ones’ hand, swim with you, etc. It is important to realize, however, that this can only occur if NOT WILD CAUGHT. Wild moni-tor lizards can calm down, but will never be completely tamed.

This brief summary of Water Monitor Lizards is written with the intention to educate, inform, and once again, hope-fully create a population that will treat this animal, as all animals should be treated, with care and respect.
