NuGen Mobility Summit by ICAT, Manesar Students of the Automobile Engineering dept. parcipated in the NuGen Mobility Summit that took place from 27th to 29th November 2019 and organized by Internaonal Centre for Automove Technology (ICAT), Manesar with following details- 11 Student groups having 31 students of 3rd and 5th Semester are parcipated in poster presentaon during the conference. 2 Students groups of final year are shortlisted for Student Innovator of the year award during the conference. Dr Devendra Vashist presented a Research paper during the conference tled Design analysis of a retrofit system for an electric two wheeler Conference was conducted in 6 parallel sessions in 6 different Halls on the themes Autonomous Vehicles, Intelligent transport System E Mobility, Alternate Fuels, Govt Policies Students were taken to the four tesng labs / centers viz. NVH (Noise Vibraon and Harsh- ness), PSL (Passive Safety Laboratory), TTL (Tire Tesng Laboratory) and EMC (Electromagnec Compability). The trainers explained the importance and latest proce- dure of these tests. The experience of visualizing the tesng of the automobiles was truly fascinang to the students. The main event was the crash test of M&M Vehicle that the students saw live happening. A project poster of students named Nanak Jamb and Dhruv
Gulati was awarded with one of the best posters during the
NuGen Mobility Summit by honorable MoS Arjun Ram Me-
ghwal (Parliamentary affairs and Heavy Industries). The title of
the project was “Design analysis of air quality monitoring unit
for enhanced safety in vehicles “ and was guided by Dr. Deven-
dra Vashist.
