The David Oistrakh Quartetfeatures four of today's
mostoutstanding Russian musicians,all soloists in their own
right,unitedintheirartistryandtheirpassion for the art of

isRodionPetrov,agraduateoftheMoscowStateConservatoryandReinaSofiaMusicAcademyinMadrid.Rodionisaprize-winnerofnumerouscompetitionsincludingPremioPaganiniinGenovain1997.HehasappearedasasoloistinRussia,EuropeandAsiaatsuchconcerthallsasAuditorioNacionalinMadrid,GreatHallofMoscowConservatoryandSuntoryHallinTokyo,andisaregularparticipantatmanyoftheworld’sgreatfestivals.ViolistFedorBeluginislaureateofanumberofinternationalcompetitionsandteachesattheMoscowStateConservatoryaswellasattheGnessinMusicAcademy.Heisoneoffewvioliststopursueabusysolocareeralongsidehisquartetengagements.DuringanimportantperiodofhiscareerhewasViolistoftheShostakovichQuartet.CellistAlexeyZhilinisconsideredoneoftheleadingcellistsofhisgenerationinRussia.Hehas
won a number of international prizes and appears frequently as a
soloist
