“THE CRYING GAME”

On April 4, our students had the

opportunity to attend at school

the film “the crying game”

The film, directed

by Neil Jordan was released

in 1992

Students had the opportunity,

through a ppt presentation and a short video

to learn about the history of IRA (Irish Republican Army):

the armed movement which was dedicated to the

Irish Republicanism

The film which explores themes of race, gender, nationality, and sexuality against

the backdrop of the Irish Troubles..

..was nominated for six Academy Awards

and won the one for Best Original
