Friday Enrichment- During Friday afternoon’s
Enrichment sessions, Miss Oakley and Mr Goodman
have taken the students out to a number of venues on
the Magical Mystery Tour. The Enrichment sessions
are a reward for all of the hard work of the students
throughout the week and so we have sought to make
these visits really memorable. So far this term we
have had a wonderful visit to Newcastle Fire Station
where the students were able to use the water hoses
and explore the emergency vehicles and try on
equipment. We also visited The Potteries Museum and
saw, close up, the Spitfire as well as many other
exhibits of local history. The students really enjoyed the wildlife section and the
interactive activities. More recently we have visited Glebe Farm and the students
were able to pet the animals and feed the rather greedy Llama’s, some students
were afraid of losing their fingers but overcame their fears to offer a tasty carrot
