We know Jesus’ commission to us is “go” and tell. Let’s balance between the “great commission” and the “great commandment.” That’s a great challenge! How do you respond to challenges? When we moved to the Lord’s side, we joined His cause.
God wants everyone saved. We know the “command” and desired outcome, so let’s work backwards. Our challenge, before the last stages of the conversion process, sinners must hear the right message. Before most will listen, they need to genuinely see it in a Christian person. Jesus’ commission originally meant “as you go.” Remember we are walking billboards others are watching. Why would they listen unless it has dramatically helped us? Before that step, a “connection” is vital. Who are the people in our lives? God is placing a Christian in their life; is it you? Walk across the room (or street) and connect with them.
Yours, mine, and our challenge:• Has everyone heard? Go! • How is your “walk” or “as you go” that others are watching?• What lost person has God put your life? Connect!
What a thrilling challenge God gives us. Share your successful stories on Facebook’s Connect Challenge. Return daily for ideas and encouragement.
