Nearly half of all US university students begin their studies at a community college, and for a growing number of international students, their path to an American university degree also begins in a relatively supportive and affordable community college setting.

This presentation (given by Mr Johan François from Seattle Central Community College at the January 2013 ICEF Dubai workshop) reviews some key facts and figures around community colleges as well as the benefits they offer such as transfer options.
