What is the BAM Project?

Each Tapestry offers three opportunities for the weaving of support, information and services to produce marketplace champions. This is the Tapestry System.™ Our events are: Tapestry Circle, Tapestry Gathering, and Dinner of Lights.

The Tapestry Circle is a monthly opportunity for sharing wisdom and support with your BAM sisters to gain enlightenment through inspiration. The goal of the Circle is to have each woman leave with new ideas and breakthrough thinking around a business challenge she is facing. During the Circle, each woman will have the opportunity to present an issue and receive the thoughts, ideas and wisdom of her sisters in Christ through the guidance of Holy Spirit

The Tapestry Gathering is a monthly business event where women come together to connect, learn, and honor God. Through the connection of Faith, Business and Friendship we create an unstoppable community. Each gathering begins with worship and prayer, and includes formal and informal networking, an educational and/or inspirational speaker, fellowship, and light appetizers.

The Dinner of Lights is a quarterly event to reflect in community and fellow-ship. The Dinner of Lights offers good food, good friends and a special candle lighting ceremony to celebrate the sisterhood of businesswomen—Christian and seeker—to thank and give glory to God for all of His wonderful blessings.

IacceptedJesusChristasmyLordandSaviorwhenIwas6or7andI’vebeenblessedwithaverystrongsenseofFaith.Infact—it’soneof my spiritual gifts. My home was a Christian home growing up; howevermostofthetimenotaChurchgoinghome.IdidattendChurch during Junior High and part of High School (and it got methenicknameVirginMary—andIdidn’tevengotoaCatholicChurch) and then again in my early 30’s. Despite not much time intheChurchIhavebeenblessedtohavealwaysfeltanamazingconnection to God.

IampleasedtotellyounotonlyhaveIbeendeliveredfrommysinbythebloodofJesusonthecrossIhavealsobeendeliveredfromCorporateAmerica.Notknockingit—justnotwhereIbelong.IhavebeenafullfledgeentrepreneurforoveradecadeandinfactthemarketplacehaspreparedmefortheministryIam beingcalledtoserve.Yesme…IambeingcalledintoministryanditistheCOOLESTthing!

Believe it or not God will use you right where you are! You don’t have to have 20+ years of Church under yourbelt,or50+biblestudiesoranyformaltraining.YousimplyneedtoLOVEHIMandwanttomoveHiskingdom forward. That’s it!

Youmighthaveguessedit…Iambeingcalledtoserveinthemissionfieldofthemarketplace—specificallywomen in business.

My point is this—find what you love and do it for God. That is serving and that is ministry! Whatever you do,workatitwithallyourheart,asworkingfortheLord,notformen.Colossians3:23(NIV)Fromthebook Marketplace ChristianitybyRobertFraser“Thisrevelationissopowerfulthatifevenonepersonatthel owestleveljobgetsit,itcanchangeanentirecompany.”

So be that on that ONE person in your neighborhood, your office, your carpool, your Bunco group. Work fortheLordinallyoudo.IchallengeyoutositquietlyandtalktoGodandseewhatheshowsyouandthenimagine the impact you will have on moving God’s kingdom forward! Now that is something to do the happy dance about!
