The Commons Foundation• Mission
• To fund, build and sustain a modern Larkspur Library and public square for the communities of Larkspur, Greenbrae and Kentfield at The Commons.
• Track record• Capital Campaign pledges and cash: $1M• Annual Fund: $35,000 in 2020-21; $15,000 in 2019 Season of Giving for Annual Fund with Friends of the
Library• Planned Gifts: $1.2M • Endorsed and supported by the Larkspur City Council, the Larkspur Parks and Recreation Commission, the
Larkspur Library Board of Trustees, the Larkspur Library Foundation, the Friends of the Larkspur Library and the Larkspur Community Foundation.
• Expanded Partnership with City, Library and Community Organizations• Raise funds to address 2020-21 budget shortfalls• Co-Develop strategy and raise funds for Virtual Library
• Formerly known as the Larkspur Library Community Center Foundation, The Commons Foundation is a citizen-led 501(c)(3) organization, and an Organization Fund managed by the Marin Community Foundation.
