AC LONDON
The appeal by AC London against expulsion from the League was heard at the FA on Thursday 9 August. The hearing was adjourned pending further investigation and AC London will compete in the League in season 2018-2019.
RIP JOHN MARTIN
The League was sorry to hear of the very recent death of John Martin who was a well known figure in the CCL throughout the 90's and earlier.
John was mostly associated with Westfield both as player and manager, always forthright with his views and very much a football man. He also managed Sheerwater in the 90's and was associated for a time with Epsom & Ewell.
The League's condolences go to John's family and friends and of course to Westfield and the other clubs with whom he was associated.
John’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 14th August at 10am at St Dunstan's Church, Shaftesbury Road, Woking, Surrey, GU22 7DT The wake is at Woking Football Club, Kingfield Road, Woking, Surrey, GU22 9AA
It has come to our notice that if you try and view your player numbers on an iPad, tablet or mobile you will only see the first 1 or 2 digits and not the whole number.
You will need to view the numbers on either a laptop or desktop computer if you just want to view them. Printing out does not seem cause any issues.
We are reporting this to The FA, FullTime team to see if this can be rectified. We will notify you in due course if and when it gets resolved.
POSSIBLE TRAFFIC DISRUPTION
An enormous, slow-moving truck is likely to cause traffic jams along the M25 and in Sheerwater and West Byfleet on August 19.
The truck will be carrying a new transformer from Tilbury Docks in Essex to National Grid's West Weybridge substation in a journey that is expected to take 45 hours.
The journey is actually planned to take place partly on Friday and then resume along the M25 from Clackett Lane services to Junction 11 on Sunday, so it should not have any impact upon travel on Saturday. Things can go wrong though so you might like to be aware of the event.
