Our products produce significantly fewer emissions per sheet compared to ordinary tree-based alternatives. Further, we recognise a responsibility to act on those unavoidable emissions we do produce. These are offset by our work with the World Land Trust - making us Carbon Balanced.

Our bamboo products are all 100% FSC approved, providing confidence that our range has been made with materials from well-managed forests. The bamboo forests we use for production have been independently audited and met the FSC’s 10 Principles and Criteria for Forest Management.

We are a recognised B Corporation, this means that we are amongst the most ethical and sustainable businesses in the world!

We are the first tissue brand to be Vegan Certified by the Vegan Society, this means that all of our products are free from animal products and animal testing.

We also have The Leaping Bunny approval. Our wipes range and all of their ingredients are produced cruelty free!

• As a result, through the World Land Trust, The Cheeky Panda have carbon offset 5.14 tonnes of carbon emissions annually produced as a result of tissue usage in this building, reducing their carbon emissions in this area by 84%!

The Cheeky Panda was founded in 2016 by two environmentally conscious entrepreneurs, Chris Forbes and Julie Chen, after a holiday in South East Asia. They discovered that there was a huge surplus of naturally sustainable bamboo which wasn’t being fully utilised. They decided the time was right to introduce bamboo into the tissue paper market as a viable, skin-friendly and abundant alternative resource to wood.

From the very moment we became The Cheeky Panda, we’ve had enormous support from the public. It’s great to know we have found the environmentally-friendly solution everyone has been looking for.
