Booth space is available for exhibitors at the Saturday, March 22, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 23, Noon to 4 p.m., event that will take place at the Huntington University Merillat Physical Education and Recreation Center Field- house. Currently 71 businesses will be show- cased in the Fieldhouse along with food, en- tertainment, children’s activities and prizes. Vendors such as Nick’s Kitchen, Kim’s Katered Affair, The Party Shop and Zesto will sell food items from the EXPO food court. Food available for purchase will in- clude mini tenderloins, salad, chips and root beer from Nick’s; pulled pork sandwiches and desserts from Kim’s; coffee, candies, caramel corn and more from The Party Shop and hot dogs, chili dogs, hot fudge sundaes and ice cream cones from Zesto. More food vendors may be a part of the EXPO and tables will be available for eat- ing and viewing the entertainment on the EXPO stage. Entertainment and live demonstrations will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat- urday and 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday. These time frames will include Dancin’ Dylan Wilson, Wayne Fox from Huntington Nursery & Florist, Richard Wymer - master gardener - speaking about rain gardening, demonstra- tions by Three Rivers Therapy Dogs, the HNHS Dance Team and more. A big screen television will be set up in a designated area for ballgame viewing and the Joy Pleaser Clowns will provide balloon fun for chil- dren. Grand prize drawings include a 60” big screen television donated by Edward Jones and a $250 voucher toward an airline plane ticket for Delta, American or United Air- lines from Fort Wayne International Airport. An additional grand prize drawing comes from Anytime Fitness and includes a six months membership with unlimited tanning and 12 personal training sessions. Many other prizes will be given away as part of the drawings and booths during the EXPO. The EXPO will open early on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. for the Huntington Ki- wanis pancake, sausage and bacon and milk breakfast. There is no charge to enter the EXPO and breakfast is $1 served until 10:30 a.m. Transportation will be provided by Boy Scout Troup 130 with golf carts bringing visitors to the EXPO from areas surrounding the Merillat complex. ber records. The cost to Chamber members
for one booth is $275; two booths, $475 and
three booths, $675. Non-members can ex-
hibit for $375 for one booth; two booths,
$675 and three booths, $875. The final
deadline to submit the exhibitor’s applica-
tion is Friday, March 7.

Smith Furniture
Smith Furniture, 312 N. Jefferson Street, was chosen as the Business of the Month
for March by the Chamber Ambassadors. The Ambassadors nominated Smith Furniture
because of their long-standing membership with the Chamber, their support of the
Chamber, and their many years of selling furniture throughout Huntington County. Smith
Furniture was established in 1943 by Everett Smith. Robert Smith, son of Everett,
owned and operated the store for many years. The store is now owned and operated
by another father and son team, Ed and Jordan Smith.
