A PHILOSOPHYCHABAD-LUBAVITCH The word “Chabad” is a Hebrew acronym forWisdom, Comprehension and Knowledge.The movement’s system of Jewishphilosophy, teaches understanding andrecognition of the Creator, the role andpurpose of creation, and the importance andunique mission of each Creature.

“Lubavitch” is the name of the town in WhiteRussia where the movement was based formore than a century. Appropriately, the word

Lubavitch in Russian means the “city ofbrotherly love.” Thus Lubavitch conveysthe essence of the responsibility and loveengendered by the Chabad philosophytoward every individual.

ROSH CHODESH GROUPJoin an intriguing and personal monthly Torahdiscussion at the Rosh Chodesh group. From so many different walksof life, congregants come together to explore their Jewish roots, learn, and makespiritual advancement;they come for the social network and warm friendshipsthat are an inevitable part of this vibrant, growing community.
