Once upon a time I put a painted border around my paintings. This was especially so withmy Tiles. Averaging five by five inch rag covered 3-ply board, they reminded me of tilesthus my name for them. As my painting output has far outstripped my sales and gifts overthe years I have quite a few pieces that can be re-purposed as mailart. Here are the first batchof Tiles with margin enhancement. :)

I found a white pen prior to working with this batch. I like it! Of course, silver gel pens get aworkout and there was even a bit of Pigma pen use. The black ink - too chicken to use a nibfreehand. :)
