The Capture of Bellatrix Lestrange

Part 1

A woman with thick, shiny hair, extremely long eyelashes, and

heavily hooded eyes held out her wand as she walked down - what

seemed to be - a deserted street. But she wasnt just a normal woman;

she was a witch and a wanted one with a 1,000-galleon price on her

head.

The witch was so dangerous; the muggle prime minister was

alerted of her and her picture was put on the muggle news, so even they

can look for her. She was an extremely talented witch, devoted to the

dark arts, and her master, Voldemort.

She was The Dark Lords most loyal followers and his most

faithful. At least she was, right up until her masters downfall. Most of

his followers, called Death Eaters, were being rounded up, her included.

As an extremely powerful and clever witch, she evaded capture for now.

Some of the Death Eaters believed her master was dead or truly gone.

She did not agree.

Most of the Dark Lords followers claimed that they were forced to

do his bidding, which was a lie! She hated how no one truly loved and

was devoted to her master as much as she was! When she shall find her

master, those who have been most loyal to him will be rewarded; those

who got away by lying or giving up other Death Eaters shall be

punished!

Bellatrix Lestrange could hardly wait to find her master. She, who

remained loyal She, who would not stop searching for him She,

who remains today His most faithful and trustful servant will be

rewarded beyond her dreams!

She continued walking down the street, wand at the ready. Houses

were on either side of her were all dark. It was nearing midnight, she

assumed. She was looking for more followers to help search for the Dark

Lord. One of his followers, according to her knowledge, who have not

given up others or lied, was a street or two away. The witch was in

hiding. Bellatrix could appear there in no time by apparating, but chose

not to. She turned the corner, and appeared at another street similar tothe one she came from. The persons house was number 172. She looked

to her left and saw the number 164. 4 houses later, she appeared at 172.

She knocked. She heard movement and a second later Amelia Joano

opened the door.

Amelia was a thin woman, with black eyes, and a very small nose.

She was holding a wand in her right hand. She gasped then quickly said,

Bella! What are doing here? What do you need? She spoke in a high

voice.

Bellatrix responded, I am here to- She stopped mid sentence.

She heard a noise behind her and spun around so fast that if you blinked

you would have missed it.

Lumos!she cried, and her wand tip ignited with light. The

narrow beam of light revealed a muggle man walking down the street

nearby. Caught in the surprise of the sudden light, the man squinted his

eyes and looked over. He looked down at the wand Bellatrix was

holding.

What is that light? What is thatyoure holding? What do you

want? The man looked scared but suspicious. His eyes then showed a

flash recognition then fear. The man must have seen Bellatrix on the

news. He made a sudden movement and pulled out a phone from his

pocket.

Amelia gasped and raised her wand, but Bellatrix was too fast and

beat her to it. She raised her wand, pointed it at the man, and shouted

Avada Kedavra!There was a rushing noise, and a jet of green light,

which seemed to light up the whole street. The jet of green light hit the

man right over his heart and he was dead before he hit the ground.With the shouts of Bellatrix, the rushing noise from the curse, and

the jet of light that lit the whole street green for a few moments, houses

began to turn on lights.

Go! said Amelia, Go now!

Come with me, Bellatrix responded very fast. She seemed to

have no remorse over the innocent man she had just murdered.

Together we can search for more and find the Dark Lord together!

No! The Dark Lord is gone! Go before the Aurors come. I have

managed to avoid my capture by saying I was under the Imperious

curse. I doubt you can do the same! Go!

Bellatrix looked shocked, but the shock turned quickly into fury.

HOW DARE YOU? She was practically spitting now. She quickly started

into a huge speech that she seemed to be holding back for a long time,

while still further houses lit up. YOU HAVE DISGRACED THE DARK

LORD BY DOING SO! I WILL NEVER DO THAT! I WILL REMAIN LOYAL!

YOU ARE NOT FAITHFUL TO HIM! HE WILL COME AFTER YOU! ALONG

WITH THE REST WHO WERE DISLOYAL TO HIM! Bellatrix hated the

woman now, for lying and being disloyal. Bellatrix couldnt stand it.

Amelia looked startled but then fury came over her too. She

screamed at Bellatrix, How dare you talk to melike that? All along the

house-lit street, men, women, and children all were looking out at the

commotion. Some were on their phones, others reaching for it.

Could they see the dead body in all the lights from the house?

Bellatrix hurried out, fury etched in her face, and when she was in the

middle of the street, about to disaperate she noticed there were many

staring at her through windows.Amelia didnt notice the watchers and pulled out her wand, and at

the same time, Bellatrix noticed and pulled out hers.

At the same time they shouted their spells.

Stupefy!shouted Amelia.

Avada Kedavra!screamed Bellatrix!

Their spells met mid air, and their wands were connected and

locked in duels. A continuous jet of green light from Bellatrixs wand

meta continuous jet of red from Amelias wand in the middle where

golden flamed circled around the point where the two spells met. The

duelers had a hard time holding on to the connection but they managed.

The golden flames were moving slowly to Amelias wand, extending the

jet of green light; shortening the length of the red light. Bellatrix was

slowly winning.

People started coming out of their houses to see what the

commotion was and saw Bellatrix and Amelias wand locked and

connected; although they did not know this.

Jets of light were coming out of the jet of green-red connection

and were shooting out randomly. One of the jets of light, which

appeared to be a mixture of blue and green, hit a child who was running

away from the witches. The child toppled over dead.

Another jet of light, this time orange, hit an emptied house (the

couple were watching curiously and fearfully outside) and the house

exploded into flames.Screams were coming everywhere now. The golden flames were

now about a foot from Amelias wand.

And still more jets of light shot out of the connection and hit

various objects and people; causing more bodies to topple over and

more objects to explode. BIG MISTAKE AMELIA! shouted Bellatrix.

Amelia looked terrified and appeared to be trying to break the

connection.

Jeremy Disidio was woken up by a shout. He lived in house 173.

Across from 172 and 174. Few seconds after he woke up, a bright green

light filled his house and then vanished as soon as it came. His first

guess was that children had a green flashlight. Oh no, sir. He will not

tolerate that. More shouting. He caught various words, one of which;

The Dark Lord. The Dark Lord? What Lord? Why is he Dark? More

shouting. He got to his feet, opened his bedroom door and started down

the stairs. Then he heard more shouts and then more light flooded his

house; green and red. He looked outside his first floor window and saw

two people holding something that was being connected by two lights.

One, green from the first lady. Second, red from the second lady, who

was near her doorframe. In the middle of the two connecting lights

seemed to be something like a golden ball. He didnt understand what

was going on. Was this a special effects lighting team? He did not know

the ladies. The lady near the doorframe did not live there. David Goaz

lives there! From the connecting lights soared many other flashes of

light. One of them hit a child running away, scared. He fell over and did

not rise again. Something was wrong. BANG! A house across from him(172) blew up. He reached for his phone, and dialed 911. While it was

ringing, he just noticed all the other houses were lit with light and on

their phones as well. 911 answered, and they told the later what was

happening, starting from the shouting, the 2 lights connecting, the boy

who still hasnt rose yet, and ending with the house exploding and is

currently on fire. The man on the phone asked for his location, and once

when Jeremy supplied the information, he said that others have called

about this too. The man also warned Jeremy to stay in his house, as they

have reason to believe one of the ladies is a wanted criminal, Bellatrix

Lestrange. Jeremy has followed the news about Bellatrix Lestrange; she

was a dangerous woman who is wanted for something he couldnt

remember. Shes said to be armed and dangerous. He hung up. He

expected to hear sirens, but none came. What was going on?

The golden flames were mere inches (Bellatrix was obviously

winning) when the connection broke. The jets of light faded and the

woman were both panting due to their ferocious dueling. Bellatrix

recovered first, pointed her wand at Amelia and shouted, CRUCIO!

However, Amelia was ready! She dove aside to avoid the curse,

rolled over, and raised her own wand. Impedimenta!

Protego!thought Bellatrix and an invisible shield erupted between

the two witches. Amelias spell hit the shield and rebounded and soared

back to her; she had to dive again to miss it.

Confringo!BANG! Bellatrix shouted, and her curse hit the frontof the house, causing it to explode in flames. The explosion blasted

Amelia all the way to the middle of the street, 20 feet away from

Bellatrix. They looked at each other for a split second, and they started

dueling again.

Spells were flying everywhere. Spells hit houses, which caused

more explosions and in the streets. One muggle tried running back into

his house. A Blasting Curse from Bellatrix, which was blocked by Amelia,

hit him. The curse burned a huge hole in his back, killing him instantly.

The road was beginning to crack and blow apart.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK; 3 wizards have just apparated onto the

scene. Amelia turned around and Bellatrix, not caring who showed up,

took her opponents distraction as an advantage. She aimed carefully and

slashed her wand through the air. Sectumsempra!she thought. Amelia

dropped her wand instantly and both her hands clutched her throat. A

few moments later, with her eyes still full of fear and shock, she fell over

dead - for Bellatrix had slit her throat. And then she started to laugh.

The Aurors all pointed their wands at Bellatrix.

Stupefy!

Petrificus Totalus!

Expelliarmus!

And in a blink of an eye, Bellatrix pointed her wand at her

attackers and screamed, PROTEGO!blocking the 3 spells from hitting

her. Once again the invisible shield erupted between them and the

spells rebounded. 2 of the wizards dove to avoid the spells, but the other

one was caught full in the face of one of the spells and was flownbackwards, off his feet. Before the 2 wizards could raise their wands

again, Bellatrix flicked hers and the street exploded with a huge BANG!

The wizards were tossed in the air and hit the ground with

tremendous force. One of them rose again. Bellatrix would have simply

loved to stay and play with her food, but she was on a time limit, and she

didnt need more Aurors popping in, even if she could take them with

both her hands behind her back.

Avada Kedavra!spit Bellatrix, trying to end the duel. The jet of

green missed the wizard by centimeters. The wizard started sending

curse after curse, Bellatrix blocking all that threatened to hit her. She

then sent a curse so powerful; when the wizard tried blocking it, the jet

of blue shattered the shield he conjured, and he hit his head hard on the

street, trying to avoid the blue light.

The same time the wizard stood up again and raised his wand;

Bellatrix already sent a new curse at him. Conversus Est Lapis!

(Bellatrix invented this one). He did not have time to produce another

Shield Charm. The bright flash of purple hit the man in the chest; and he

froze. His eyes widened with fear as slowly, the man began to turn to

stone. A few seconds later, he was completely a statue of. One could

easily return the man back to his original state. If someone didnt the

man would be dead in 24 hours, unable to be turned back even with the

counter-spell.

Bellatrix, whose purpose was to not let the man come back stone-

free, cried, Reducto!and the statue, after the bright jet of red light hit

it, exploded into a fine powdery mist; unable to be ever repaired.

She pointed her wand at the remaining 2 Aurors.Obliviate!she murmured and they would not remember a thing.

She knew she had to leave now, just as 5 more CRACKS! could be

heard. She shouted, EXPULSO! at the nearest house, 173, and with a

bang, the house exploded, causing many people muggles and wizards -

to run away and she disaperated on the spot.

--

Jeremy was afraid. He saw houses and many other things being

blown up by whatever that woman was holding. He knew he was in

trouble right when she pointed it at his house. His house exploded with

a sickening BOOM! Something hit him hard in the back of his head and

he toppled over; dead.

Chapter 2

--

She apparated to her empty brothers house; he was in Azkaban.

She pulled out her wand, pointed it towards the sky, and started

muttering, Protego Maxima, Fianto Duri, Repello Inimicum, Salvio Hexia,

Cave Inimicum, Repello Muggletum,and many more spells.

While saying these, flashes of white transparent light came out of

her wand and started producing a transparent dome around her. Once

done, it appeared she was in a bubble.

No one can touch her now. If a muggle walked over, he would

walk away, hurrying to an appointment they just remembered they

were late to.

If a wizard or witch hit the dome, theyd either be flown back or

disintegrate on the spot. If they fired a spell, it would rebound and cause

massive explosions. Almost no spell would be able to get through the

dome!

If someone looked at the house, they would not see Bellatrix but

just an empty house, thanks to her Disillusionment Charms and many

more spells of her own making.

But just in case, she also put Security Spells to prevent anyone

breaking in and to alert her if someone was in the bubble.

She would use this house as a safe house; if she needed it. She

would wait a couple of days before searching for new followers. She was

furious at Amelia, but she got what was coming. The nerve of her!

2 hours later after walking around, planning her next move; she

heard 10 CRACKS! Damn! They found her. But she still had her security

measures. She looked out the window. 2 witches and 8 wizards were

standing just feet from her bubble. One wizard approached the house;

wand at the ready. As soon as he came in contact with the bubble, there

was a flash of brilliant white light. The wizard disintegrated on the spot.

NO! said one of the witches. She cast a shield penetration charm

at the bubble, which lit up moments when the wizard disintegrated. The

spell did not rebound; instead caused an explosion when it came in

contact with the dome. A few cracks appeared but quickly vanished;

Bellatrixs charms and spells were extremely powerful and would be

hard to break. The rest of the wizards and witches followed the witchs

example. Charm after charm was cast toward the bubble. More

explosions and cracks on the dome; which most of them vanished. Few

cracks remained. One of the wizards pointed his wand toward the sky

and 3 white patronuses in the shape of bulldogs erupted from the wand

and were sent off. He was calling for more backup.

3 hours later, after applying replenishing her defenses, Bellatrix

noticed more and more wizards coming to help and, with great dislike, a

Dementor; another betrayer of Voldemort. Charms were halted as the

Dementor slowly made its way over to the dome, bringing with it; a feel

of despair and cold air; which barely affected Bellatrix in the slightest. It

approached the barrier and crossed over easily, followed by a

disturbance in the shield. The Aurors probably couldnt see the

Dementor anymore, now that it was in Bellas bubble. Being advanced in

the Dark Arts, she knew quite a few defenses to get rid of one. She couldtry to do a Patronus charm!

She did not master that, but what choice did she have? She was

the only Death Eater to try to master the spell because she did not trust

the Dementors. She thought of finding her master and being rewarded

and cried, EXPECTO PATRONUM!A silver animal erupted from her

wand and raced toward the Dementor. The Dementor fled the shield

with another disturbance and was gone. A slight pause, and then more

charms were sent and more cracks appeared in the dome. One of the

wizards sent a powerful shield-penetration charm that caused a crack

so long, it went all the way over the house.

By the hour, Bellatrix muttered more defensive spells,Protego

Maxima, Fianto Duri, Repello Inimicum, Salvio Hexia, Cave Inimicum,

Repello Muggletum, Expecto Patronum MaximaShe now felt the need

to add the last one to add to the shield incase more Dementors come.

Hours later, about 20 wizards were attempting to break the

shield. Crack after crack appeared in the dome. Bellatrix chose now was

the time to leave. She turned on the spot, but found her self-turning into

what felt like, a solid wall. Damn! Those Aurors were smart. Cracks

appeared everywhere in the dome. Bellatrix had to reply defensive

spells every 15 minutes to avoid the dome being penetrated. The dome

would be broken any second now. And after another witch cast the

charm, the shield turned bright orange, and holes started appearing;

growing larger and larger until the dome was gone.

Part 3

Immediately after the dome was down, Bellatrix was spotted.

Spells started to be cast from 20 wands. However, their aim was not

perfect. She needed to block only 4 spells, which was too easy. Expulso!

she cried, and where 3 of the Aurors were standing; the street exploded.

The Aurors were blasted into the air, as Bellatrix started running

into her house. Objects began exploding all around her, and every so

often she blocked more curses. She sent more curses at them, and some

of them toppled.

She waved her wand furiously muttering, Sectumsempra.

Around 5 wizards in the front of the perusing crowd toppled over in a

pool of blood. She reached the door, went inside, and slammed it with a

wave of her wand. She had a sudden thought about an old house elf. Not

just any house elf; The House Elf belonging to the house of black!

KREATURE! She called and almost immediately there was a crack. The

old house elf was standing before her.

Get me out of here, NOW! she shouted. The house elf grabbed

her arm very quickly and just as the front door burst open, the elf and

Bellatrix Lestrange turned on the spot, and disaperated.

Part 4 The Capture

Few weeks later, Bellatrix Lestrange was the subject of everyone;

muggles and wizards. She was the most wanted of them all now. After

they left, Kreature took them to a forest, where every so often he

checked on her. She continued searching for more death eaters, but

could not come in contact. If she wanted to go out in public, she used a

disillusionment charm.

She went out to look for food. Anyone who gave her trouble would

be killed instantly. She set off towards the streets and found out that

there were Aurors everywhere. She was in Diagon Alley. Sure it was a

risk, but once again she was out of choices. She knew some people here

who could help her.

BANG! She was blasted off her feet and landed 5 feet away

painfully, on her side. She stood up and looked for the caster of the

curse. She looked down and saw she was visible again. Five Aurors

hurried along and she hear someone cry, Incarcerous!

And ropes flew from the casters wand. Bella blocked the ropes

with a quick shield charm and then sent blasting curses everywhere she

could, blowing shops, streets, and various objects up.

10 Aurors, 15. All casting hexes and curses at her. She was dueling

ferociously. Cracks appeared everywhere and then Bellatrix was no

match for 15 of them one of them sent a curse that hit her leg and she

could no longer move; she was frozen by the Full Body-Bind Curse.

Part 5

And then the Dementors showed up and accompanied her to

Azkaban. Her master would be disappointed. But she would find him.

That was a promise. She just needed a way out and her time would soon

we coming. She laughed insanely as she was dragged into her cell andshe smiled to herself as everything turned black.
