~Welcome Home~

~A Blessed Dedication~

A BIG congratulations to the House That Ching Built Partner Family, the Jenkins Family, on closing on the Habitat home in August!

Through hard work and dedication Mrs. Price closed on her Habitat home in record time! Way to go!

The Houston Habitat event team was a little nervous that the rainy weather would keep our guests from being able to attend our August New Home Dedication on Thursday, August 20, 2015, but as our Partner Family member, Ms. Clay said, "God will ensure safe travels to all the attendees as this is a special and blessed day!" and boy was she right! We had a full house full of love, laughter and blessings! Thank you to all our sponsors, guests and Partner Families attend our dedication to help us celebrate our Partner Families and dedication their new Habitat Homes!

Building on a 16-year partnership, Whirlpool Corporation announced in August that it will continue to provide a new range and refrigerator for every new Habitat for Humanity home in the U.S. in 2015, donating up to $5 million in products throughout the year. “We are grateful to Whirlpool for their continued commitment to furthering the mission of Habitat," said Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International. "The donation of a range and refrigerator for Habitat homes in the U.S. is just one way Whirlpool helps families who need a helping hand, and we appreciate their faithful partnership."
