for a hard days work, at the core of friendships and reason to get together over

a ‘cold one’.

Even state borders are defined by a ‘pot’, ‘schooner’ or ‘midi’

Everyone has their favourite brew - a lager or an ale, dry or cold filtered? –

or perhaps a boutique or artisan craft beers?

Backyard brewers across our nation have turned their love of beer into a fierce

battle, where each claim to have perfected the best ever beer.

Welcome to The Brew Master the 8 part reality TV series that brings

backyard brewers together in a series of challenges that will see the winner

pocket $25K and an exclusive commercial contract and distribution deal.

In a beer hall setup, our backyard brewers will attempt to brew their own versions of classic beers. Each week’s challenge will focus on a category of beer – Draught, Lager, pilsner etc. All challenges will be filmed back-to-back before judging, to allow the brew to ferment for up to 6 weeks. At this point, the contestants and judges return for the filming of the results of all 7 Episodes. Our backyard brewers’ beers will be judged on things like Appearance, Aroma, Flavour and Strength. The Final Challenge will take place at the major sponsors brewery. The judges and finalists return 6 weeks later once the beer is brewed to announce the winner. Master Interviews will be conducted once filming has wrapped to narrate story lines. Back stories will be thread throughout the series, with our host travelling to the backyard breweries of our contestants.
