1. Open to financial playing Amateur Lady Members of Golf Clubs
affiliated with GA and Clubs recognized by the Bodies governing
Women’s Golf in overseas countries.
2. No player may win more than one prize (exception: team and
perpetual).
3. Players may only enter one of the three categories.
4. Age will be taken as at the first day of the
event.
5. In the event of a tie in the gross 72 hole event a sudden
death play-off will take place to decide the winner. All other ties
will be decided by count-back.
6. Handicapping Players shall retain the same handicap for the
entirety of the event.
7. The Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf
Club of St Andrews shall apply together with the Local Rules as
drawn up by the Championship Committee.
8. Championship Committee 8.1 The Championship Committee will
comprise of the Golf WA Golf Management Committee together with the
Golf Operations Manager, Events and Championships Coordinator, and
those members of the host club co-opted to the Championship
Committee. 2.2 In the absence of a full Championship Committee,
such members as may be present at the time, may give a decision,
and any decision so given will be deemed to be a decision of the
full Championship Committee.
8.3 The Championship Committee will have the sole management and
control of the Championship with full power at any time to alter or
vary any of the conditions. 8.4 The Championship Committee’s
decision on matters affecting the Championship will be final.
Protests must be made in writing and submitted to the Championship
Committee within fifteen (15) minutes of the conclusion of the
day’s play.
9. Motorised Golf Carts The Golf WA motorised golf policy will
apply. Copies of this policy are available from the Golf WA
website, www.golfwa.org.au
10. Smoke Free This is a smoke free event and as such no smoking
is permitted on course or in and around the clubhouse.
11. Drug Testing All competitors are subject to drug testing by
the Australian Sports Drug Agency for banned substances as laid
down in the Golf Australia Doping Policy. Any competitor infringing
this policy or refusing to take a test may be

disqualified. A copy of the policy is available at

12. Player Code of Conduct
All entrants assent to be bound by the GolfWA Code of Conduct. A
copy of the Code is available on the GolfWA website
www.golfwa.org.au
13. Measuring Devices For all play in this competition a player
may obtain distance information by use of a distance measuring
device. For specific information on the conformity of devices refer
to Appendix IV of the Rules of Golf.
14. The draws for Tuesday and Wednesday will
be seeded and available online at golfwa.org.au following the
completion of play on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
15. Entries close at 5pm on Sunday March 19th. Late entries may
not be accepted.
16. The draw will be posted on the Golf WA website after Tuesday
March 21st.
