BOMAG BF 800 paver – fast screed extension up to 10 m.

Innovation in 20 t class paving: the BOMAG BF 800

breaks the mould in the 20 t class. Not just with

BOMAG quality and design, but also with screed

extension up to 10 m using quick-fit mechanical

attachments with sliding couplings and without the

need for complicated braces.

The screeds use electric heating as standard with

heating elements cast in aluminium blocks for

extra durability. With optimised heat transfer, heat

is evenly distributed throughout the screed plates

for faster heating-up. In addition, only 1400 engine

rpm is needed in the warm-up phase; cutting fuel

costs and helping the environment.

The large hopper provides extra capacity for

extended paving, and for truck change-overs.

A hydraulic front flap, proportional scraper belts

and augers, and hydraulic auger height control

provide even, smooth and precise material flow.

New side-mounted operator stationsOperation is simple: important functions are acti-

vated on both sides from new side-mounted

operator stations. From here, sensors for the scraper

belt and augers can be selected and controlled.

A new feature is the BOMAG Failure Detection

System, which detects and indicates inconsisten-

cies or defects in material flow immediately so the

operator can take action immediately.

Easy to service and environmentally friendlyBy virtue of the standard machine management

system ECOMODE, there are four different modes

of operation available to the operator.

ECOMODE only makes available the performance

that is needed for the situation at hand. The result is

measurably less fuel consumption and a reduction

in environmental pollution.

The finisher BF 800 also scores points in terms of

its ease of servicing and maintenance. During

operation, the automatic central lubrication

system automatically supplies lubricant to the high

load areas such as screed, auger and auger height

adjuster.

New side-mounted operator stations: all major functions in reach.

BOMAG SIDEVIEW: The driver‘s station, including roof, can be extended laterally to give an overhang of 50 cm.

Easy and quick to service: central electrics, tied and numbered wiring looms and clear access to all hydraulic and engine components are all standard with BOMAG.
