• Even after what Christ has done for us, some count his blood a common or “unholy” thing (Hebrews 10:29)

Forsaking assembly (context, vs. 25); filthy language (cf. Eph. 5:4); lascivious actions (Gal. 5:19-21); vain worship (Matt. 15:9); drinking, drugs (1 Pet. 4:3-4); etc. Any kind of willful disobedience of God.

Christ’s Blood Can Be Counted Unholy

• Even after what Christ has done for us, some count his blood a common or “unholy” thing (Hebrews 10:29)

• Who are these people? They are the ones who sin “willfully” (cf. vs. 26)

• When we leave the commands and precepts of God, we are guilty of counting Christ’s blood as unholy or common (cf. 1 Cor. 15:58)

1 Corinthians 15:58“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be be

steadfaststeadfast, immovable, always abounding in the always abounding in the work of the Lordwork of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

Rather than being willfully disobedient, Christians should be diligent in response to the precious sacrifice of Christ.
