The Skills for Care Accolades awards have been celebrating excellence in adult social care for the past 14 years

The Accolades recognise the ‘best of the best’ of 20,300 care organisations, services, providers and employers of all sizes across the whole of England. They reward the valuable contribution and dedication of the 1.45 million adult social care workers supporting people to live independent lives.

The Accolades attract high calibre entrants in each of the 10 fiercely contested categories. The entries are judged by the sector’s top leaders and endorsed by the sector’s leading trade and professional bodies.

The black tie annual gala event where the winners are announced takes place in London on the 1 March 2018 and every year we have a celebrity presenters, Past presenters have included Penny Smith, Ruth Langsford Julie Hesmondhalgh and Samia Ghadie. This high profile awards dinner brings together 200+ guests including the finalists, the judges and influential figures from across the sector.

The Accolades are the Oscars of the adult social care work recognising the commitment and investment made by organisations who support and develop people who lead, manage and work to deliver high quality person centred care and support.
