The People Behind The BusinessPaul Norris Leisure Garment SuppliesPaul Norris, Director at Leisure Garment Supplies, is passionate about providing quality Corporate Clothing for all types of businesses. He formed the company in collaboration with Saj Kadva of Leisureguard (UK) Ltd. after recognising an opportunity, with Leisureguard previously being a large customer for uniforms and work wear for their huge army of Manned Guards!

Paul is a local lad, having grown up in Tonge Moor, attended Sharples School and now living in Astley Bridge and has over 15 years’ experience in the industry, having worked for Work Wear Companies throughout his adult life before taking the brave step to set up in business himself. When he’s not at work he can usually be found cycling or swimming, training for Triathlons and Marathons which he enters whenever he can. His strong local connections are also one reason he takes his membership of thebestof bolton very seriously!

Although he always wanted to be a Fireman, while growing up, his passion for the work he does comes from the pride he enjoys when he sees his customers employees smartly turned out in the uniforms and work wear he supplies. He believes that a quality uniform with great logos and designs really sets a company apart from its competitors and makes a bold statement, giving the team a sense of belonging and pride in the job they do and the company they work for.

Using state of the art software and skilled designers, digitising logos and images to create superior quality stitching and designs on a huge range of garments is the thing that sets Leisure Garment Supplies apart from its competitors and Paul says they have garments and products to suit all businesses and budgets.

As well as supplying a range of local independent businesses like Indespension Ltd, Willson and Co. Proline Engineering and Atlantic Travel, Leisure Garment Supplies also have larger contracts like supplying garments to the Royal Air Force and of course Leisureguard (UK) Ltd.

When you meet someone face to face, you can build up the ‘know, like and trust’ element very quickly because your passion and knowledge about your products and services will be there for the person in front of you to see and it’s really great that as a thebestof bolton member you have access to a 100+ strong club of businesses all with several staff who may need your products and services either right now or at some time in the future.

If you’re a thebestof bolton member, give it a go. You could try...

1. Joining our Facebook group, introduce yourself to the group, let people know what your business does but more importantly build relationships and get to know people.

2. Going through the members on the site and giving them a call and arrange to meet for a coffee. This doesn’t have to be at your place or theirs, we have several great coffee shops on board who would be more than happy to host you.

3. Drop other members an email saying ‘Hi’, no big hard sell just a friendly hello and introducing yourself to them and asking if there’s anything you can do to help them.

4. Connect up on LinkedIn, drop them a note telling them you are a fellow member and you would like to connect up. Once connected, don’t just sit back, take action on one of the steps above.

As we said, it may be a cliché but people genuinely do buy from people but more importantly from people they like. This is your chance to really build your network around you.
