Barracks II Rezonings

• June 2011 - Original PDD approved; Council removed wake

board facility.

• April 2012 – Revised PDD approved; added wakeboard ski

systems with limitations.

• August 2013 – Part of PDD revised to replace some

commercial with more townhomes, realigned streets, added

uses.

• April 2014– Added a 29-acre tract to the development for

multi-family, townhome, commercial, and recreational uses.

Amends some existing uses and standards.

Rezoning Request Summary

• Revises the Concept Plan and amends the proposed

uses in the four corners of the development.

• The meritorious modifications and community

benefits associated with the existing PDD zoning

are retained.

• The Planning & Zoning Commission recommended

approval of the request at their January 15th

meeting. Staff also recommends approval.
