Volunteer Highlight: Kim Carnero
Meet Kim Carnero ‐ Office Volunteer Extraordinaire!
Kim has been volunteering with us since September 2014.She is in our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In
September, she logged 40 hours!
What first brought you to the Parkway Foundation?I live just across the bridge. One day I was walkingthrough the park and saw a volunteer sign in front ofthe office. I came in and asked if you needed any help!
What keeps you committed to volunteering with us?I enjoy volunteering here. You guys are really neat! Itis fun interacting with all of the office visitors. I enjoythe Parkway, but I didn't have a true appreciation for ituntil I started volunteering. It is really an honor.
Do you have a favorite volunteer story or moment? When Dianna invited me to the Summer Solstice dinnerthat was really cool. Also sometimes there are donutsor pizza in the office. I like that, too!
American River Parkway? Wewould love to see them!
