• Colonists tried to attack Canada so the British couldn’t use it as an asset, but failed when General Richard Montgomery died and the colonists fled for home

• Colonists also kicked Brits out of Boston (Evacuation Day March 1776) and South had 2 wins in 1776 (Moore’s Creek Bridge, NC and Charleston Harbor)
