Gospel Of Matthew
Matthew 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men.
Gospel Of Mark
Mark 16:16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but
whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Gospel Of Luke
Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,"
Gospel Of John
Don't be disturbed. If you read the whole of that chapter and understand the context, it will be clear what is being said. In John 14:7-10 Christ says, "'If you know me, then you will also know my Father.
“The Father is greater than I." Doesn't this mean Jesus is saying he is less than God and not equal to him?
