miracles, the churches they took place in, and the
people involved are also included, adding the final
touch to a comprehensive, detailed, and extraordinary

Congratulations to Levi Michael, son of Ty and Rachel Morris, who celebrated his baptism last weekend.
Catholic Corner
What is despair? Despair is the sin of
deliberately refusing to believe that God will
always give the necessary help for salvation to all
who ask for it. St. Paul Family Catechism.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair (2 Cor. 4:8).
Next week: What is charity?
Announcements
Liturgical Ministers and Coffee Social Ministers are asked to contact the parish office before Wednesday, January 30 with your non-availability dates for the next period, March 3 through May 26. This includes Ash Wednesday, March 6, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday – April 18 through April 21.
Happening this Week:
This weekend, January 26 & 27, we will have a collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign. This campaign connects people with Christ, here and around the world in developing countries, through the internet, television, radio and print media. Your support helps spread the gospel message! Envelopes can be found in the narthex and church entrances.
Parish Announcements:
There will be a Knights of Columbus breakfast after the morning Masses next Sunday, February 3.
The 2018 contribution statements have been mailed out. If you do not receive your statement by the end of the month, please contact the parish office.
All adults are invited to join us in the parish center for the faith formation series Why We Worship presented by Dr. Brant Pitre beginning Wednesday evening February 13 thru April 4 at 7:00 pm with encore presentations on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 pm. Gatherings take place in the south classrooms of the Parish Center. Contact Linda in the parish office for more information.
Discover the parish library in the parish center gathering space. There are many wonderful books for you to check out and read.
Thank you to those who have returned their Stewardship Cards. We are a little over half way to our goal of 100% participation. Please fill out and return your card so we can plan our ministries and budget for the year. If you haven’t received a Stewardship card, you may need to register in the parish. Registration forms can be found on line or in the narthex.
We will no longer have anointing of the sick at the Mass on the first Saturday of every month. If you are in need of anointing, please contact the parish office.
Consider joining the Respect Life Committee from 9:45 am to 10:15 am on Sundays in the chapel as we pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the restoration of a Culture of Life, Sanctity of Marriage and Freedom of Religion in our nation. "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." ~Matthew 18:20 All are welcome!
