The New Pilbara Economic Development Conference is an initiative of the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce, Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce, Onslow Chamber of Commerce and Newman Chamber of Commerce. It will be held at the Hyatt Regency on Tuesday August 29, 2017. The New Pilbara Economic and Development Conference will highlight the region’s main drivers of productivity, innovation and technological change.
It will also explore the emerging industries that have the potential to drive sustained economic growth and diversification across the Pilbara region including tourism, agriculture, renewable energy and education.
It will excite lively discussion about the investment and economic opportunities that are currently thriving in the region. The Pilbara accounts for 36% of Australia’s exports, and boasts a powerhouse combination of location, access to markets, a world class customer base and unique natural assets that position the region for long-term future growth and prosperity.
But most importantly it will put the Pilbara region, its people and possibilities, at the forefront of some of Australia’s leading political, business and strategic minds.
