The 2002 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program’s on-line application process has been designed to lead fire departments through a series of screens that will ask basic questions about the department, its firefighting workload and capacity, and its proposed project. While the web-based process will be self-explanatory and easy to use, FEMA has developed this slide show to provide interested fire departments with an introduction to the application. Fire Departments will be able to complete an actual application at www.usfa.fema.gov/grants from March 1 – April 1, 2002. NOTE: The screens in this presentation are samples, and while the information requested will not change, the actual on-line application may differ slightly.
