SpecialistsOur new campus will serve as a home base within the Panhandle for many of our expert specialists, so that residents can attend appointments and follow-up with their care providers, closer to home.

• Panhandle Cardiology and Vascular Medicine – Cardiologists are responsible for evaluating the condition of your heart and the entire cardiovascular system. Our multidisciplinary team provides a clear picture for our patients’ diagnosis and treatment, which includes advanced cardiac imaging services including stress testing, nuclear imaging, cardiac ultrasound, heart monitors and pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring.

• Vascular Surgery – Valley Health has been leading the fight against vascular disease for more than 30 years. With state-of-the-art imaging diagnostics and both open and minimally invasive surgical treatment options, our team of vascular surgeons will provide interventions for the full spectrum of circulatory disorders.

• Oncology – Using advanced technology, Valley Health offers a team approach to the treatment and support of cancer patients and their families. Each cancer diagnosis is as unique as the patient facing this challenge, which is why the oncologists here treat the whole person—physical, emotional, and spiritual.

• Wound Care – Consisting of specially trained and highly knowledgeable medical professionals, the wound care team utilizes a multidisciplinary approach. Beginning with an assessment of the patient’s needs, the pathophysiology of the wound is addressed and around that, a unique wound care and management plan created.

• General Surgery – Valley Health general surgeons will have office hours within the Spring Mills campus, which means that making it to and from consulta-tions, as well as pre and postoperative appointments will get easier for residents who are seeing a general surgeon at Winchester Medical Center or Tri-State Surgical Center.

Coming Soon Valley Health |Spring Mills The campus will provide primary and specialized care when and where our neighbors need it the most. The expansion in the region has brought with it an increased need for high-quality health care, and Valley Health | Spring Mills is proud to be the answer.

Location Conveniently situated just off I-81, exit 20, Valley Health | Spring Mills is located in the northern part of Martinsburg, West Virginia—just 35 minutes from Winchester Medical Center, a level II trauma center and the largest, most advanced hospital in the region. The outpatient campus will provide exceptional, high-quality care to residents in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.

Community Education and Resource SpaceAs a non-profit health system, our desire to serve our community is at the heart of the care we provide. That is why this new campus will offer a community resource space for community health, education and civic groups to meet.

Family Medicine Family medicine provides ongoing and comprehen-sive medical care throughout a patient’s life. Family physicians will provide the highest quality of medical care by looking at, and knowing, the whole person, rather than focusing on a single health challenge.

Urgent Care Ranked as a top urgent care in the nation, Valley Health Urgent Care will offer walk-in care for those in need of urgent, but non-emergent, medical attention. As the only accredited urgent care in the Eastern Panhandle, Valley Health Urgent Care has built a reputation for high patient satisfaction and attentive, compassionate care for things like sprains, minor breaks, injuries, illnesses, sports physicals and more. With on-site lab and x-ray, as well as online check-in, Valley Health Urgent Care is a safety net of care for the community.

Medical Imaging and Women’s Imaging • Ultrasound – Using high-frequency sound waves to

produce pictures of the insides of the body, ultrasound imaging can diagnose the causes of pain, swelling, and infection in the body’s internal organs.

• Mammography – The first line of defense, a mammo-gram is a type of x-ray used on the breasts to detect signs of breast cancer.

• X-ray – X-ray imaging creates pictures of the insides of the body using electromagnetic waves. Most used to identify bone fractures, x-ray has several important uses.

• DEXA Scan – Measures bone mineral density to determine a person’s risk of osteoporosis or fracture.

Lab Services Walk-in lab services will be available for those needing bloodwork and other testing as part of their overall medical care.
