China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum & Exhibition (CAMCF) has been successfully convened for 7

consecutive sessions with remarkable achievements in Nanning, Guangxi, China. The CAMCF has become

the highest-level and largest convention of the China and ASEAN mining sectors. The Ministry of Land and

Resources of China has identified the Mining Forum as one of the two biggest annual international events

in the mining sector in China, along with the China Mining Congress and Expo convened in northern

China and southern China.

As an important event of the China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit

(CAEXPO & CABIS), the 2017 China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum(CAMCF), organized by the Ministry of

Land and Resources (MLR) of China and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,

implemented by Guangxi Department of Land and Resources, the Science, Technology & International

Cooperation Department of MLR, China-ASEAN EXPO Secretariat as well as Guangxi Bureau of Geology

& Mineral Prospecting & Exploitation, and co-sponsored by China Geological Survey, China Metallurgical

Geology Bureau, China Mining Association, ASEAN Federation of Mining Associations and Guangxi

Geological Mining Investment Group Co., Ltd, is scheduled at Nanning on August 23th-26th, 2017.

The theme of the 2017 CAMCF is “Build China-ASEAN Mining Information Harbor, Establish New Belt and

Road Cooperative Platform”. A series of events will be well organized during the 2017 CAMCF, such as

2017 China-ASEAN Mining New TechnologyMachinery & Gems Expo

The Mining Expo covers a total area of 11,000 square meters with 600 standard exhibition booths. With

the theme of “Building a Shared Region with Innovative Concept and Green Technology”, the expo will

focus on exhibiting and promoting mining exploration and exploitation, mineral rights transaction,

new technologies and equipment for mineral development, mining machinery, precision instrument,

jewelry and ornamental stones.

A Review of the 2010—2016 China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum &Exhibition

From 2010 to 2016, China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum & Exhibition (CAMCF), which was organized by People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Ministry of Land and Resources of China, having been successfully convened for 7 sessions so far, it plays an important role in promoting pragmatic cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in mining investment, technology promotion, energy conservation and emission reduction, resource comprehensive utilization, personnel training, etc. As one of an important forum of the CAEXPO and CABIS, the CAMCF was synchronously held with these two events since the year 2015.

In past 7 years, over 6000 guests from mining authorities, mining associations, mining enterprises, financing institutes, mining research institutes and mining service providers of China, ASEAN and the other countries and regions across the world attended this event, as well as 2500 exhibitors. 1100 projects were promoted during the CAMCF, of which 108 were signed.
