Company presentation

LIDEM S.L. is situated in the Valencian town of Ontinyent (Spain), one of Europe´s most important textile production centres.

In our plant we carry out all our design, production, merchandise classification and warehousing tasks, as well as reception and administration. Our plant has been built following the strictest Q.C. guidelines so that all of our processes can be carried out in optimum conditions and where the most up to date process engineering systems are combined with traditional human care. In this environment we develop a complete range of specialised machinery for the production of textile in two principal areas; fibre preparation and the preparation andpresentation of fabrics.

OUR PHILOSOPHY Lidem S.L. was born from a dream of innovating and developing textile production with state-of-the-art technology. Thanks to the efficiency, innovation and security of our developments, our market has steadily increased and has become export orientated.

PERSONNEL Our staff is comprised of specialists in every area of our activities, who attend regular, on-going training courses. We also maintain close contact with companies and associations such as AIMME, AMTEX or FEMEVAL who are responsible for assessing our technicians in all aspects of new technologies and their application to textile production systems, which in turn allows us to offer the highest possible guarantees on all our products. The experience of our technicians allows us to guarantee the effectiveness and long life of all our production system. Our own in-house Design and Development department is responsible for certifying the quality of all our products. Our state-of-the-art machinery complies to the strictest EEC requirements.

INVESTIGATION In a forward looking company, investigation and development is a constant task, so our R+D department is in constant contact with specialised companies and institutions in order to keep up to date with any technological developments and new systems that come on to the machinery market.

In the field of R+D one of the most exiting developments is the ROTATOR; high production capacity and low energy consumption, and the EXTENDOR; capable of making 8 simultaneous cuts on deformable material, with a speed and precision hitherto unknown on traditional cutting systems.

DESIGN Technology and design has always been at the forefront of LIDEM´sphilosophy. In order to improve the competitiveness of our clients, we have had to configure our production lines to offer improved output and greater production flexibility than our competitors. Our job is to design machinery which is capable of offering the best possible production capacity. This is the task of our engineering department and is the result of an exhaustive knowledge of our client and the product, knowledge which is reflected in the design of a machine which perfectly fits the real needs of every client. To achieve this we use a 3D design system which allows us to carry out studies of alternatives much quicker than we could using a prototype and to show the client a series of images of the machine in our studio, without the need of building a prototype; this allows us to achieve much shorter lead times.

We boast a large, fully equipped installation, which combined with the most modern production systems, permit us to maximise the fabrication and production system. All the machinery built in our plant undergoes rigorous quality controls to fully guarantee the quality of our products.

PRODUCTION MACHINERY Our production plant is controlled by an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, which directs and controls the processes involved in any forward thinking industrial manufacturer: All the departments in the company are integrated into the system, paying particular attention to the production style of a mechanical engineering process. A proven method of implantation and start up of the production system combined with the experience of our technicians permits us to carry out the construction of the machinery.

High technology and innovation

Our machines maximise capacity and minimise consumption. Their robust construction houses a large diameter twin bladed cutting assembly, whose high mass guarantees a great production capacity with low consumption. Complete access Changing blades or cleaning the assembly is made easier thanks to the access door. Ease of use The cut length can be adjusted electronically. The fixed cutter has four blades. Reliability Equipped with protectors which avoid the introduction of foreign objects in the roller. All of our cutter models are safe and easy to use. All models can be fitted with a high-precision metal detector.

Model SAM/3: Twin accumulation chambers and a mobile emptying head, feed is via a motorised rotating distributor.

Complete strength The system boasts robust construction, designed to guarantee its durability and effectiveness in the production line. Even feed Rotating distributors spread the material over the entire surface of the chamber. Independent accumulation chambers Two independent retaining chambers comprise the mixing and storage system. Extraction system Vertical extraction system. The system extracts the material from the horizontal layers deposited on the retaining chamber belt. Emptying head The emptying head is mobile and can be moved along the front of the accumulation chambers to perform the hopping and extraction of the material from each of the chambers independently. Material discharge The material is deposited on the transport belt by the extraction system onto a belt positioned on the emptying head, which in turn transports the material to an inlet which takes the material to the next process. High technology and innovation The system incorporates simple technical solutions which simplify the handling and use advanced technology to guarantee high productivity and self regulation of the load.

SAD Model: The model can be fabricated in various working widths, according to the line to be fed

Total strength The system is built on a rigid structure, formed by a vertical tank with dust extraction, a horizontal tank, a discharger and a regulator doser with feed density control High capacity, high production This system allows high capacity and production, thanks to the large capacity accumulator and smooth feed. Continuous regular feed The system allows continuous feed and perfect mixing of any type of chopped material. The principal characteristics of this system are security and complete access for cleaning. Production line self sufficiency The compactor system is equipped with an electronic self loading and unloading control, according to the requirements of the production line.

Model DPM: Composed of accumulator silos, compactor rollers, scales and extraction belt. Can be installed in series according to the material to be mixed.

The accumulator silo is positioned above the dosing module.

Independence The weighter mixer has two or more independent accumulation systems, depending on the material to be mixed. The material stored in each of the accumulators is deposited into the dosing systems, which respond to the requirements of the weighing scales. Precision Weight selection is carried out via a touch screen. The dosing system then delivers the correct weight to the scales. Constant quality The scales deposit the material onto the extraction belts which carry it to the mixing inlet; there, it is evenly mixed via a vacuum system. Ease of use The controls are clearly laid out, without technical complications. The system is equipped with warning lights to advise the operator of any breakdowns or problems, as well as maintenance requirements.

Continuous and regular feeding

Unrolling system is composed by a rollers set. It presents a easy feeding, which precedes to the rolling system, feeding the system in a continuous and regular way.

Measurement programming

The machine allows to program the number of meters to be rolled in an automatic and easy way.

Perfect rolling

Rolling system carries out a perfect rolling of the fabric. At the same time, it keeps a constant tension of the fabric during all the rolling process.

Adaptability

In our models, we adapt the systems to the customer necessities. Among others, the customer can choose the working width and the coil diameter.

Continuous, regular feed The material is automatically unrolled and fed through the inspection table: The material tension is maintained constant via the speed control. Correction The centering system allows optimum rolling of the inspected material, thanks to perfect alignment. Extraction options Extraction of the inspected material can be through zig-zag folding or rolls. Model PLT: Working width of up to 3,200mm, equipped with HEUSCH raising cylinder, fabric centring system, feed from bin and extraction in zigzag.

Cut perfection The cutting assembly is comprised of a large structure with a flat blade and a raising cylinder with a helicoidal blade.
