The teaching and learning key area’s goal is to move towards a “student-centered collaborative model” that will provide our young scholars with the tools they need to succeed in a technology era.

Providing teacher with effective on-going professional developments is essential to move from traditional schooling to 21st century education.

Since 2006 – 2007 school year, all Texas teachers are required to complete the online version Teacher STaR Chart Survey.

The STaR teacher survey “establishes a clear framework for measuring how well teachers are prepared to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need.”
