The STaR Chart was developed around the four
key areas of the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology:
• To assist all classroom teachers in assessing needs and setting goals for the use of technology in the classroom to support student achievement
The purposeof the STaR Chart is:
• Complete the STaR Chart online, and use the profile annually to gauge their progress in integrating technology into teaching and learning
Texas teachers must:
• Can be reported to school boards, community groups, and technology planning committees as it is aligned with state and local goals
