Teaching and Learning component • Showed little positive trend other than it did

not fall into the Early Tech stage. • We have maintained the same score for the

last three years. • Good indicator that this area needs to be

addressed in setting campus goals.

Educator Preparation & Development

Stayed the same in 07-08 and 08-09. Still room for improvement in this area. Campus Leadership team may want to

address this in planning future staff development.

Page 10: Texas STaR Chart

Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support

Maintained Developing Tech stage. Lost 2 points for 08-09. Campus Leadership Team and administrators

may need to make a concerted effort to improve this component.

The Infrastructure for Technology

Gained 4 points Made the largest gain for all components

over a single year. This area has never reached the Target Tech

Questions????

Page 13: Texas STaR Chart

To do this, we all need to make a commitment to:

Help others who lack the skills needed to make technology a plus in their classrooms

Agree that technology is a much needed change and that is okay!!

Remember that our kids and their success is what we are here for.

In Conclusion: Our campus needs to “STEP IT UP!” in the technology department!!
