Welcome From the 2020-2021Texas FFA State Officer Team
Welcome to Fort Worth and the 93rd Annual Texas FFA Convention, presented by Justin Boots and Farm Credit. The Texas FFA State Officer Team is elated to join you in a week of celebration, opportunity and new experiences. Our world is in need of leaders like you who are willing to grow personally, build your communities, and strengthen the ties of agriculture. We are glad you’re here!
Fort Worth has deep roots in agriculture, making it a perfect place to welcome our students and guests to its streets wearing the coveted blue corduroy jacket. This week will be unforgettable as we hear from our talented state choir, recognize state champions of various contests, provide more than $2 million in scholarships to hundreds of deserving members, hear inspiring messages from keynote speakers, and slate a new group of individuals to serve as the 2021-2022 Texas FFA State Officer Team.
Texas FFA continues to grow with our membership having reached nearly 140,000 this year. Every one of those members, including you, signifies an undeniable passion to empower the future of our organization. This week, take time to draw inspiration, celebrate achievement, and be present in every moment.
Texas FFA, we can’t wait for you to join us during the first general session as we embark upon a week of excitement. Throughout each session, we encourage you to take what you learn and implement it into your chapters and communities. We challenge you to light the way for others as you “ELEVATE” the 2021 Texas FFA State Convention!
As a team, we are so incredibly thankful to have served Texas FFA this year. Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to serve you!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE AT CONVENTIONWhat to Bring:Bring any type of denim apparel item – jeans, jackets, shirts, skirts, and more as long as it’s 90% cotton or greater. It can be colored, embellished, and/or printed. The denim can also be in any condition – ripped, stained, and even scraps – as long as they’re washed and dry.Where to Drop-Off:Chapters are encouraged to bring contributions to the 2021 Texas FFA Convention in Fort Worth, Texas July 5-8. Designated collection bins will be available at the convention center near guest registration.

Amberley Snyder is a barrel racer and inspirational speaker who has fought her way back from tragedy. Amberley now is inspiring thousands across America by telling her inspirational story and competing in rodeos across the western United States. She has let the challenges she faces refine her, not define her.
She was voted the fan exemption contestant at the world’s richest one day rodeo, comparable to the Super Bowl, RFD-TV’s The American. She competed with the best in the industry and received a standing ovation from over 40,000 fans in AT&T Stadium and won over the hearts of America. Amberley has turned her tragedy into triumph and is inspiring all of America to Get Back on the Horse.

ANNA MATHISNATIONAL FFA SECRETARY“An Attitude of Gratitude”
Did you know gratitude makes us scientifically happier and healthier people? One little action on our part can lead to a changed perspective
and life. We won’t pretend disappointing things don’t happen; we’ll focus instead on how to elevate our happiness and personal growth (and maybe even go viral) through our responses to life’s curveballs. That response is choosing an attitude of gratitude.

WILLIAM CLARK GREENPresented by: Ag Workers InsuranceA singer and songwriter whose rough, heartfelt delivery earned him a following in the Southwest. When Green was younger, his music tastes leaned towards hard rock, up until his father introduced him to Willis Alan Ramsey. With Ramsey’s classic 1972 debut album, he became interested in the Texas singer/songwriter tradition. Green is an Alum of Texas Tech University, and spent a lot of time at open mics in Lubbock, Texas. Within the same year he was playing in Lubbock he released his debut album. However, it wasn’t until 2013 when his album Rose Queen became his breakthrough.

Texas FFA...
thank you!
The 2020-2021 Texas FFA State Officer Team would like to thank you for attending this year’s convention as we set out to “ELEVATE” members’ passion and success within the Texas FFA. The newly elected 2021-2022 state officer team invites you to join them in Fort Worth next year for the 94th Annual Texas FFA State Convention, July 2022.
As leaders, we are called to be a positive light for the people around us; one that embodies leadership, growth and a bright future. Let this convention serve as a reminder to always shine a light that illuminates the path for others to follow. We encourage you this next year to pursue opportunities, take action, and make a difference in your homes and communities. Use your light to lead others and shape the future of our growing organization. Texas FFA, “ELEVATE!”
