System Down Root Causes analysis (Dec-02)

Tester Repair Time have 4.5% in Nov and 2.7% in Dec :

Root Cause:

In Nov Fusion FTF had two testers down because of its VME

power Supply and Lamda power pupply, the VME power

supply (no spare on hand).

Action :

Investigate adding this part to LSI item.(Fixed at WK248)

Engineering time 3.8% in Nov and 5.2% in Dec :

Root cause :

Depend on users .

Small Stop Causes analysis (Dec-02)

Small Stop have 3.8% in Nov and 2.6% in Dec

Root causes :

* System problems, handler problems and types problems cause

high small stop .

* In Dec >18% of No order , high idle rate .

Improvement direction :

* Need supports form RM group record down the small down .

* Need Type/System/Eguip to improve their equipments down. .

* Need Operator’s Leader to monitor the small stop.

“Others “ have 3.5% n Dec lower than 3.6% in Nov and 4.5% in Oct .

Root Causes :

Action:

Investigate histroy in ACS , prevent unnecessary action in reading test program when type /sysem/ equip problems happen.
