15. Similarities: - In both the Old and New Stone Age people used stone tools, weapons, and other materials.- People hunted animals in both Old and New Stone Age.

Differences:- In the New Stone Age people developed farming, which led to a settled life.- In the Old Stone Age people hunted and gathered food and lived as nomads. - In the New Stone Age tools were more advanced than the Old Stone Age.- In the New Stone Age the population increased, and cities and towns developed.- In the New Stone Age people domesticated animals. - In the New Stone Age there were social classes.

16.- Farming allowed people to stay in place all year. - The food surpluses led to people being able to feed bigger families. - There was rapid population growth and this caused the development of cities and towns. - As the cities grew there was trade and people started to have time to try new occupations other than farming.
