Product
Luminaire Type: HiBay
Name of Product: 130w LED High Bay Model/Catalogue number: 61900-130
Description: Suspended IP65 Hibay Black Body Glass lens 195mm
LED Brand Name/ Model No: Osram DURIS S 5 GW PSLR31.EM
Driver Brand name/Model No: Osram OT 165/170-240/1A0 4DIMLT2 E
Results
Supply Voltage 254.2V (1.06x rated voltage) 50Hz, Current 0.512A and Power 119.99 W at 0.983 Power Factor.
In-Situ Temperature Measurement Test (ISTMT) on LED measuring point 74.0 Deg C
Total driver output current being supplied to panel 740 mA.
Consideration of LED arrangement, yields an LED drive current of maximum 92.5mA. Note that the drive
current employed in the LM80 report is 160mA.
Conclusion
The calculator below gives a projected 70% lumen maintenance life under normal operating conditions of 69,110
hours, however, according to IES TM-21-11 the luminaire manufacturer can only claim “6 times the test hours” or
54000 hours. At 54000 hours of life, the lumen maintenance is projected as 76.06%.

Test specifications
The luminaire was tested in accordance with the procedures given in IES LM-84-14, "IES Approved Method for
Measuring Luminous Flux of LED Luminaires" using the In-Situ Temperature Measurement Test (ISTMT) referred
to in IES TM-21-11 “Projecting Long Term Lumen Maintenance of LED Light Sources". In particular, the method
of Test is described in IES LM-84-14 Annex A Recommendations for Measurement of In-Situ conditions LED Case
Temperature, TS. In addition, the conditions of test are as specified in AS/NZS 60598.2.1:2014 Clause A17; this
refers to Clause 12.4 of AS/NZS 60598.1.
Use has been made of IES LM-80-2008 test report Test Documentation No.: Osram Test Document no: 160022W1,
Osram Opto Semiconductors and the Energy Star Calculator Spreadsheet based around IES TM-21-11. This method
is the preferred Option 1 in Appendix 1 – US Department of Energy –Guide to evaluating LED lumen
maintenance.pdf.
The data specified in this report apply to the luminaire with the components nominated and only if it uses the LED
package described in the above LM-80 report, and will not be applicable to the use of other LED sizes or ratings,
other drive Currents, nor to any other luminaire of similar design.
Test Configuration & Method
The luminaire was measured for LED Chip temperature at the point marked TMPLED on the DURIS S 5
GW PSLR31.EM chip by the laboratory as this is specified in the Test Documentation No.: 160022W1 – 3rd
February 2016.
• The Report gave chip dimensions Illustration 1 this laboratory concluded the yellow section of the chip
measures 3.3 mm long by 3.1 mm wide. The chips in the luminaire were inspected and measured in Length
3.3 mm long by 3.1 mm wide. This laboratory concludes the chip is the same shape and size as shown in the
Report but cannot be held responsible that the chip is the same. Responsibility for this rests with the
luminaire supplier.
• The luminaire as supplied by the client was tested in the controlled temperature room at 40 Deg C as it was
marked Ta = 40°C.
• The luminaire was hung facing down as it is constructed with suspension points.
• The LED was measured with a fine 36-gauge Type K thermocouple glued with two part clear epoxy to the
TMF point in the Report, see Illustrations 1 and 2.
• A calibrated reference thermometer together with the thermocouple of total Uncertainty 0.4 Deg C was used to
